  1. Wow, I am very impressed! Wish I am just as handy
  2. Hi, I had a similar problem in my master toilet last year. There were patches of mould on the ceiling which looked disgusting and I thought that best solution was to repaint the ceiling. Hubby was complaining but did little to help One day whilst shopping, I came across one of those roving fairs selling Japanese household stuff - can't recall but it may have been at Takashimaya. I saw this stick with green sponge for cleaning walls and ceiling - just wet and clean. It was not cheap - but should be less than $50.00 - I thought no harm trying. LOL It really worked. The ceiling was as good as new. I had also came across this company's goods being sold at Isetan from time to time. The stick is like the magic mop type except that it's a magic sponge (green colour). I think the cause was dampness in the bathroom because the ceiling in my kitchen toilet was ok. Hope this info. helps those who faced similar problems.

  5. Hi, you can visit White House Living at Mohd Sultan Road. They have dining sets in walnut and a light coloured wood - teak not laminate. Prices are not cheap but we find it reasonable for teak. Happy shopping
  6. Hi, I have the same microwave/convection oven as you. I use the convection setting quite frequently for baking cookies and cakes. No problem at all. Just follow instructions on your recipes but have to experiment a bit as the temperature controls are not as exact as actual convection ovens. The only drawback is that you are limited by the size of the oven, so you have to get bakeware that fits. Hope this help. Happy baking!
  7. I had my living and dining room floor polished about 2 months ago, costs me about $750/- and this was co-ordinated by a reno-firm. I am sure if you go direct, may cost less. The polishing took 1 day and the floor was really shiny at the end of the day.
  8. Hi all, if anyone is interested, I have a sharp microwave/convection oven to let go at $180/- (no warranty but used less than 10x as I have ano. oven). The model is R888C (Grey).
