  1. hmm.. baking soda? Does it work? May try on small area first. Thought bleaching solution might do better(but I didn't try before) if u wish to employ those cleaning method. Use it with a used toothbrush to scrub the gap lor..
  2. I used this tool that it used for filling wall. It is probably call the scraper. It is jus a bit tedious to dig and scrap out those dirty areas. However, the result is good. Originally, I wanted to use those white cement but the result from those wall putty seem ok(in fact quite good). Thus decided against those white cement that need to mix with water etc.
  3. Why not re-putty the jointline. First need to dig out the dirty areas. Then reputty the joint line. This is what I experiment.. it seem to work well so far
  4. Originally, we were keen to get Whirlpool. By accident, we gain knowledge in electrolux washer and eventually bought one. I must say I am very very satisfied. It is ultra quiet and produces very clean output. Jus that I thought it takes a **** long time. ~ 2 hrs per wash thru express mode can change to 30mins. The 1000rpm mode is surprising quiet too.. I highly recommend electrolux.
  5. Try the panasonic one. I am using one now.. quite good.
  6. For those drawers, the damper is built in. If u wish to install for cabinets, it is available from Ikea. Only the one in Alexandra has it. Made in Germany. I used it for a lot of my cabinet and install via my ID. Makes the closing softer thus minimize damages to the cabinet.
  7. Vhive is not too bad. I got from them my current work chair. Nova.. I bought from them a dining table. Turn out still ok.. thru it is very messy wrt to its logistics as I learnt.
  8. My best experience came from Ikea, Robinson, Castilla I went to this 7th storey furniture shop, Beng tuan, Defu, Nova.. experience aren't very good. Only bought from Nova due to this surprising helpful staff(heard that staff previously from Barang Barang.. thus account for the different service level) Going to Ikea cannot be wrong... it may not be durable but the cost, value for money and service cannot match.
  9. I balloted for over 2 years before I got my current unit. It is a painful experience. FYI
  10. Frankly, I am never a fan of korean stuff.. except LCD and LCD TV. So far.. it has performed very well.. Value for money.. bah.. plus usability quite good. The problem is probably the instruction manual. Haven't found them very useful
  11. The cheapest time to get is via those computer show.. can't beat anywhere...
  12. There is learn feature but I guess the user(me me) probably can't get it to learn..haiz..
  13. I am using series 6 Samsung 40 inch. It's pretty good thru.. definitely not as clear as CRT (I was using similar size for CRT..) Good thingy that u don't need separate STB for receiving HD5 and those digital channels..
  14. As above. I am thinking of buying those universal speaker holder/stand to hold my rear speaks for my HTS instead of installing on the wall.. ANy good lobang where to get them?
