  2. IKEA perhaps? not 100% same, but similar design http://www.ikea.com/sg/en/catalog/products/S49897228/
  3. I'm using sharp system 3 for my HDB 5 room. Pro: got temperature indicator with sensor that will display the actual room temperature, which I think really useful and you can't find in any other brand Cons: compressor broke down after 3 years of usage. After a lengthy and several service schedules finally its up and running again. Lucky that we signed up for 5 years warrant with courts
  4. after our tenant left, we decided to use the space for study room. Decided to tighten our reno budget this time DIY painting of the wall with could effect on the weekend (copying idea from another blogger in this forum) Using left over white Matex paint from previous reno and bought 1L easywash nippon paint for $24 result: adding a 2 x 120cm IKEA Vika Amon study table with Vika Lerberg legs and Vika Alex drawer (total cost of $230) with Eames DAW replica bought from Gmarket ($91 each) For the time being, still sourcing a 150cm sofa, nice rug/carpet, and 32" LED TV to be mounted on the wall
  5. Then try to contact them and insist to have a replacement due to premature defect.
  6. If you just got it recently then call them to give you a replacement. I did the same thing for my Cellini bed frame. But if you got it for quite sometime already, then my suggestion just accept it as it is. I thrown away my cellini sofa less than 2 years old due to excessive peeling.
  7. I use ariston induction for 2 years already. So far no problem and happy with its performance. Maybe you can consider Bosch as well Instead of vitroceramic, you should consider induction cos the surface won't be hot flaming hot to touch
  8. I don't think it's quite necessary to have all handy equipment. Can use back the hole from the old lock. I did mine using a screwdriver and those screw provided only. If you didn't align it properly, it won't spoil the lock. Only it won't lock. However if you want to buy those with handle then it would be more challenging cos it requires 2 precise holes on the door. So my suggestion if you want to DIY, buy the lock only and use existing handle.
  9. Insani should deduct 19% German VAT from the price, then you'll be required to pay 7% GST to Singapore custom once the item arrived in Singapore of the value exceeds $400. You'll receive a collection slip in your mailbox if you need to pay the GST. It's located at SingPost building Paya Lebar.
  10. Luxray: hope everything went smoothly and you receive the item soon. Your total invoice (including shipping cost) should be less than SGD400 to avoid Singapore GST, otherwise you have to pay 7% at Singapore custom once the item arrived
  11. Velarine: it's formica 2mm glossy laminate. Some ID charge more for this type. 2 years already passed, the laminate still like new and quite scratch resistant also. No waverly reflection as well but it's fingerprint magnet. Need to wipe clean it frequently. Only my solid top start to deteriorating with plenty of fine scratches. Need a good machine polish in near future. Quite regret that I didn't choose quartz top by topping up a bit more for peace of mind. Only tip to maintain it by cleaning each time you finish cooking. Sometimes my solid top stained and I use a droplet of bleach to remove it.
  12. Luxray: I've been purchasing Grohe taps in 3 different occasions, and I always choose the one that in stock. Normally it will takes 2-3 working days for them to ship the item and once the item shipped, they will send you the tracking number using DHL Germany and delivered by Singpost once it reach here. Total waiting times around 2 weeks. chynaho: small white side table from IKEA Besta range, similar to link below without castor http://www.ikea.com/sg/en/catalog/products/S09891474/
  13. The shipping cost is very cheap, so order 3 in separate transaction to avoid GST. I've been using Samsung Ezon for the past 3 years, also bought from eBay as well. Installed by myself and no problem at all. This relatively cheap product, I don't think warranty is necessary. Just buy a new one if spoilt
  14. You should consider neato xv-21 as well. Just check the video on YouTube. Already using it for the past 1 month.I'm very happy with its performance with active sensor as the "eye",it will reduce bumping into your wall & furniture significantly and also powerful suction power. Pricewise, I believe it's cheaper than roomba 780 or iclebo.
  15. Hi. able to share where did you get your Grohe Minta from? at $350 incl shipping. cause i try to search from ebay it's much more then this price.
