  1. Duravit wash basin is ok. I prefer Grohe than Hansgrohe.....Grohe last longer IMHO. For Geberit flushing system, make sure you write it down in black and white that you purchase the 4.2 liter system and not the 3.2 liter system. I am using the 3.2 liter system (which is what the main con told me), I have to flush two times for big business..
  2. Maybe you can ask your main contractor to put a long string into the conduit pipe. So when the open net guy come to install the fiber cable, they can tie the long string to the fiber cable and put it through. Best is to talk with your main contractor on how best to do it.
  3. Cat 6 cable is for data line and normal electrical wire is to carry electricity....so it is not the same.
  4. This company also install on grid solar power. www.sunpower.com.sg. You can go to www.ema.gov.sg to read about solar power in Singapore. The cost is on the high side. I think there are a few landed property already install on-grid solar power.
  5. I have pm you the contact. Best is to ask the contactor what type of LED light suitable for spotlight on paintings or feature wall. He change my spotlight on paintings but as a lay man, I forget what type he has install in it. I just leave it to him to decide.
  6. I can't see the picture. Your 8w LED downlight cost that much. The SMD LED light that I have install come in different form also, it can be round shape, a long rectangular shape and a tiny rectangular shape as night light. It come with 2 years warranty. So far after one month of usage, I reduce the electricity usage by an estimated 500KHW. Still need to monitor the usage as I have replace 90% of the light to LED. Thank you for sharing your knowledge on LED lights.
  7. More expensive in relation to which type of LED light. I have purchase LED MR16 bulb that cost $70 to $90 but this LED light price is so much cheaper. Moreover, I am happy with the brightness it give out from my naked eye as compare to LED MR16 light bulb that I used to have which is suppose to give the same LUX rating. Maybe you can post some pictures of the LED light, so we forum user here will be more educated on what type of LED light are available in the market. Thank you.
  8. Don't you have a door between the walk in wardrobe and the bathroom. My architect design it without a door but I insist I need at least a glass door between the walk in wardrobe and the bathroom as when one taking a hot shower, there tend to have a lot of moisture in the bathroom. A big window (in place of an exhaust fan) in the bathroom do help also. IMHO.
  9. Hehe, thank you for the correction. There will surely be noise but I find it bearable after all we are not going to sleep inside the toilet.
  10. Those mounted on the false ceiling will have a pipe that run to a wall opening. It will not be circulate inside the false ceiling. I am using KDK model so far so good.
  11. I have sent you a pm regarding the person to contact. The price range is between $29 to $55 depending whether it is a module that install into your existing light or a new downlight.
  12. Thank you for mentioning the downlight require heatsink. I almost forgotten about it. At least, the MR16 is one third price I have bought but I find the MR16 ligth in still not bright enough for room but it is bright enough for the toilet. The picture I posted is that they modified it into my existing downlight. They use the reflecting plate as heatsink. I did bought a few downlight from them and it have heatsink in it. You need a false ceiling to install those downlight sold by them. Now I have to monitor how much less electricity am I going to use per month.
  13. Hello, you can contact Jeffrey Lam at his HP. 90102900.

    Cheers,

  14. I have sent a pm to you on who to contact. Best that you talk to the guy so he will know what you need. They have yellow and white light. Hope this help. PS. They do come in long thin strip too which might suit your kitchen cabinet. I have this type install under and above the toilet mirror.
  15. Thank you for informing me about that I am slow in finding such product. I am just sharing with others. I forget the technical words for this type of light but I just call it LED light. Hopefully, fellow forummer will find this type of LED light useful to them. Since you know this type of LED is in the market for years, I guess you have experience in this field. Will you kindly share the pro and con with us in this forum. Thank you.
