  1. Hi bkok, Super good deal man. Should be 24x. I Used to stay there.
  2. Hi HappyAng, Congrats for the successful Reno journey. Nice house and ideas!
  3. Hi potatoes, Thanks for the information. I do not have a yard as my kitchen has been extended into that area. Can't build anything on the ceiling area as it is currently a false ceiling. Currently, I do have bamboo holders installed right outside my kitchen area and I was told that it is not allowed. As my top floor neighbor hangs their mop out at that area, it became non feasible for hanging our clean clothes there. I do have clothes stand which can hang around 20 pieces of clothes and portable bamboo stands, which my maid place at the quiet public stairway one floor up my unit. Currently exploring for a feasible long term solution. Haiz.
  4. Wow, super nice! Super impressive!
  5. Hi super9038, You can definitely save $$$ if you go direct. Though savings of $$$ is a factor to consider, time spent to source(open web domain, newspapers classified, through word of mouth etc) for the right supplier to do the job may be tedious, you need to ensure that the works performed are carried out as per your schedule, you need to personally supervise the workers and open the doors and gates for them, quality assurance, inputs from the experienced IDs or contractors? Actually, IDs and contractors exist for a purpose. Like maid agency? Ultimately, you need to explore and consider to make your final decision. Risks of non performance and non accordance to schedule that may disrupt your plans for move-in? For HDB, there is normally no performance bond insurance though.

Hi kooky, If you are more concerned on safety aspect and with very young kids and more kids to come along, advisable to use laminated tempered glass. The only difference and disadvantage will be there maybe bubble popping up due the the passage of time. I was advised on this by the glass contractor. Anyway, think you still have time to consider. All the best.

Hehe HappyAng Actually, based on my observations, the builders for the glass railings needed to be very precise and skilled to build the three pieces of glasses to sit into the grooves that they built, nicely. I noticed they came a few times using their laser to make measurements. The challenge for them was for the first two pieces, where there is this T angle. If everything swee swee. U will notice everything very even out and from u resting your hand for the first glass to the last, there is no noticeable difference. For my case, the second piece of glass has a very slight deviation as compared to the first. But since not very noticeable, I let it pass and let go.
