  1. some good experience with homelovers wallpaper centre at kallang bahru and Europa at alex distripark is huge too...
  2. your terms made it sound like you're not quite local? anyway, I can't quite answer your questions since there are only a few places specialising in kitchens and I do not have experience with them.. Nor do we really have places selling free standing units in Singapore. Most of us get our bespoke/custom-made kitchens from renovation contractors or Interior design firms... Do a search in renotalk and you will be able to pick out a few reliable ones. I wouldn't write off IKEA since they do have nice designs and a 25 years guarantee. good luck!
  3. hihi, sounds like some great investments1 do you mind sharing which US website u got your lights from? 4 items for $1K inclu shipping seems very reasonable indeed! Do show pics of feature wall/ painting jobs if convenient!
  4. shabby chic/eclectic whatever the name, i'm sure it'll be really cool! So happy to see one more"deviation" from the norm! looking forward and all the best... !!
  5. u mean u lay the cement yourselves? cool...
  6. hihi...hmm..mine is done a year ago... have a modern country kitchen and bedroom i suppose...But will be doing up my parents' resale flat soon so still lurking around renotalk and getting inspiration!
  7. hi countrylover, eagerly waiting for your updates coz me an ultra country style fan ..
  8. hi Bunbun, welcome to JW too! I've looked at your red hibiscus wall and have replied your email.. Cantona, i still haven't go your house and use your hotel toilets... heee...
  9. Hi Iceman, congrats on getting a unit at woodlands st 32... it's a pretty neat estate isn't it... with the stadium, causeway point etc all nearby... Coz i used to stay there too.. hee... i love the little hill behind the stadium... getting to the top and watching the world go by... miss it so much... Anyway, good luck with reno!
  10. Just to clarify... winkies aren't wallpaper but wall decals... you can paste them on painted walls or any smooth surfaces like glass, showerscreen etc... if interested, can check out our website www.winkplay.com Basso, you may want to check out wallpaper from Europa Wallpaper Centre as well. They are at Alexandra Distripark.
  11. just adding my 2 cents worth about white... me big fan of white furniture.. So far I feel that white laminates/cabinets etc is fine .. though white countertop (solid surface) is really hard to maintain... orange juice stains, tea stains... or just black marks from nowhere... then i use mr muscle and ended up with super white patches and thus uneven tones... quite exasperating! maybe i'm just using the wrong methods... anyone has better ways of cleaning solid surfaces?
  12. glad to hear that... saw the striped wall... i find it quite cool actually but can imagine it to be rather out of place in your house... i can also see how your choice of lightings would complement the style u like... continue updating us ya... best of luck for the rest of reno!
