  1. Quality varies. I have seen from less than 100 to more than 300 dollars. If you are not fussy, get the lower grades will do. BTW, what device are you connecting?
  2. I think if you need really hot water, gas or storage is good. Heard that gas can save a little more, not sure on this. I have been using electric storage heater, so far so good. If give free, take lor! But free installation or not? Make sure the installation is good! We are dealing with gas here.
  3. Instant heater has small storage for water. How fast is the heating element? If the heating element is slow and the water flow is fast, naturally, the water will not get heated up fast enough. If you want really really hot, suggest to get storage heater. They come in a few capacities (e.g. 10L, 15L and bigger).
  4. For technology, buy around the time you need it. Price is always dropping. Don't be fooled by the specs. Look at the actual display and choose the one your eyes like. Also, ask the salesman to display normal TV mode, HD5 and HD quality (Blue ray or HD DVD).
