Personally I feel that Turbo hob the burner support has abit too much using cast iron (black colour, glossy). That will rust over time, and it's ruined, although it won't collapse. So my current hob I choose those with either brass (gold colour) or nickle alloy (silver colour).

If u want to see see look look, either goto Hoe Kee or Jalan Besar. There's lots on display. Can see for yourself.

Any one using Turbo have further comments? Read that Turbo burner rust easily and is not easily removed.

Turbo & Smeg are under www. happiness.com.sg

I bought Turbo T6309 s/s burner and got it replace on the 3rd year as overflow of liquid jammed the burner.

Agent charge me $100/- plus for clearing it, I got no choice but to accept their offer to trade in for 6319 s/s at $280/- with additional $30/- for the fire safety vlave,

My slim hood E9000 also 'die liao' as the 'plastic propeller' drop off due to wear & tear of plastic material after 8yrs of use.

The connector of the auto iginiton of my new cooker came off when I replace the battery for the first time of use. Transportation itself for the repair service is about $50/-, labour? part?

Still looking for others new replacement but turbo is my only place to get at dealer's price.

Hi,

Anybody know where Turbo is from?

Hi hi

I think some hob models of Turbo is from Italy and some from Taiwan. Same goes for the hood. I am also thinking of getting Turbo, mainly due to the design and it fits to my lifestyle. In the market, there are many types - brands, models. Read from other chat forums that a good place to browse would be the showroom at city gas (somerset). The opening hours are abit tight for working people - 9am to 6pm on weekdays and I think Sats is till 1pm. Not open on Sun and PH. Have yet to visit that showroom though to see if its really that good.
