hi jwsh

u from blk 271A? how much plush living quote for ur reno cost?

As my scope of work and design will be different from you, it will be best if you contact Plush Living directly for quotation. I can say that their price is competitive after meeting several IDs

On Friday, we took a full day leave again to meet up with my ID & the carpenter for on-site measurement and compartments selection for all the carpentry works. As we are tall, we had specifically requested to make the worktop higher than the standard 34-inch height from the floor.

The renovation had been progressing fast. The following are some updates:

Previously, we had reported to BSC that our bedrooms' parquet tiles have numerous hollow areas and was told that 1 full week is required to do the fixing works. As not to delay the initial renovation works, we had postponed this fix to be done only after electrical,air-con,false ceiling and carpentry measurement had been completed.

As such, for this coming week, we would let BSC to do their job. My ID had arranged the painting works to start on 3rd week of October and we are going to use Nippon Paint Easy Wash with Telfon :sport-smiley-004: . For our MBR, we will be trying out the new Nippon Momento!! :dribble:

It has been awhile since the last update as we had to wait for BSC to fix the numerous hollow parquet tiles in our bedrooms. We had to call BSC several times to know the progress of the fixing of the hollow parquet tiles and was given a green light to resume my renovation on 17/10/12. :drunk:

Cheryl (ID) had made arrangement for all my carpentry works to be delivered and installed on 17/10/12. Partial lightings will be up too! Cheryl knew that we were excited on the carpentry works installation and had took some photos for us! :sport-smiley-004:

On 19/10/12, we had to bring down our sink & tap to our new house to do the cut-out for the kitchen worktop. We will be also meeting Thomas from J.W.T curtains to select fabric for our curtains and blinds for the rooms.

We were so excited to see the result of the carpentary works that last night we couldn't sleep well zz zz .

The first thing we saw after opening our door is our Shoes Cabinet! We were really happy as it gives us the "feel" that we wanted and the workmanship is :good: . What is pending for the Shoes cabinet now is the lighting for hollow display rack.

Next, we saw that our TV feature wall is up. For TV feature wall, laminate is yet to be put up. As part of the room sound treatment, sound acoustics diffusers will be placed into two hollow parts of the feature wall and bass traps will be placed on the two corners of the wall.

As for the Walk way, I can see that the air-con trucking had been properly box-up and the two downlights are up.

The cove and downlights in this room are fixed. The reason why the downlights are not covered is to prevent painting which will be done later to stain the cover.

We will getting "rainbow" blinds for this room

We wanted our kitchen to feel sunny, warm and calm. This is especially so with our small kitchen to look bigger. Based on my ID's advice , we will use a yellow kitchen mirror backing and bottom cabinets with yellow border.
