Looking for good contractors? Click here for your request

Hello hello...

It's been hard trying to get this tblog going. Mainly because I don't know what I want!

We'll be viewing the flat for the last time this Thursday before collecting the keys on Friday.

Since we cannot finalize design, except we know that we want to hack a lot and also claim the recess area, there'll be permits to submit. But...

Anyway, can I just ask, when do I sign up for water, gas and electric? ASAP?

I probably have to move the meters cos going to enclose recess area. Who do I ask (where to move to) and how do I apply for it to be moved?

Lastly, I want to change the letterbox lock. Any lobang?

Thank you!!

i think don't rush. be sure what you want. visualise and then visualise again. I originally wanted to start my reno in oct. Up till now, have not start. however, the good thing is i have a fairly good idea what needs to be done where.

the house has been empty since.

Alfredt,

I wish I had the luxury of time! (Like for my first apt...). Right now I'm extending my lease just to do reno... Every month I stay here is more money spent! And the landlord isn't nice... :)

Anyway, will be meeting contractors there as well for them to measure then quote.

Must remember to bring cashiers order to pass to agent.

Bb just finally napped. Haha. Sigh.

Looks like I should go down to the show room to find out more. :) macro is made in china, right? I wonder if Rinnai is made in Japan or china.

Interesting news... My contractor say we have approval for hacking floor and stuff except, hacking and erecting walls. Hmm. That's gonna be difficult!

Yup macro is china brand, made in china. From what i recall, Rinnai is a Japanese brand but also made in china..

Agree you can go to the showroom to find out more. The sales person was really comprehensive :good: I went to the one at Woodlands Civic Centre, the lady there told me Triple One at Somerset got more displays. So can go direct to 111 check it out.

For the HDB approval part, did you plan for many hacking / erecting of walls? Did they share why not approve?
