Hi Longhuan,

I just had my experience with Spaces Living concept @ Beauty World. Here are my views;

- cheap and good workmanship from the contractor

- Poor co-ordination from Catherine Lei (we had expressed our views and ideas to her but many a times, some of the turn-out was not what we wanted and in the end, the contractor has to re-do again)

- Slow progress of work (We handed keys to her and there has yet to be a time schedule from her. Need to chase her for timeline) - if you are in a hurry to move, then pls dun engage her

- She is flexible in making changes though

- Absent-minded : email, whatsapp our ideas but she forget thus resulting in amendments in some projects

- Basically the id ideas came from us, thus for cheaper cost, you can consider engaging her contractor directly if you have your own ideas

Please be aware of ID company Spaces Living Concept / Catherine Lei. She has moved to Joo Chiat Road.

our renovation project with Spaces Living Concept was a painful experience.

If you can tolerate a renovation project that will run for 7 months or longer with no proper closure, please go ahead. 

in the end, we hired separate contractors to finish the job.

Additionally, if you attempt to contact her for status updates, she will either block your phone or not reply your whatsapp.   You will end up doing most of the project management and on-site monitoring. She does not go on site resulting in big mis-coordination between different contractors. Many contractors give up half way due to repeat correction work and non-payment from her giving wrong instructions.

at one point, we were living without any bedroom / toilet doors and without kitchen stove / washing sink for 3 months.

it has been a torturous experience for our family with schooling children. 

The problem didn't just end after the 7months. Things eg. door lock, toilet wc, water heater, etc. started to get faulty thereafter.

How is their quotation like? Are they very cheap

Forget about this ID. This Catherine Lei has evolved from ID to scammer. Ran of with my bro and sil money. Just hacked one wall halfway and ran off. Even subcons are chasing her for money owed.
