Bto Data Point & Scv Point

Hi all, I have queries and need advise.

I just got my unit. There is an existing SCV point and data(RJ45) point in the living room at one side of the wall, however I want my Smart TV to be mount on the opposite side of the wall.

I am thinking to make use of my SCV point in the bedroom (beside Living Room) and extend it to Living Room (through drilling of the wall), reason being trunking will only be exposed in the bedroom so Living room will looks more aesthetic.

I am confused on this part. Is it necessary to transfer the Bedroom Telephone Point (which I will convert to Data Point) to the Living room wall where my new SCV point is sinces the original SCV Point has a Data Point beside it.

Does Smart TV & Cable TV (Starhub Hub Station/ Mio TV) requires a Data point to plug in ? Which I don't think so.

Is there any repercussion if I "takes away" the data point in the bedroom and place it in the Living room Instead.

Please advise ! thannks

That depend on where u position your internet modem/router and how u want your smart TV to be connected (LAN or wireless )
