Hi all, sharing my renovation journey for my new home 5-Room Standard BTO @ Anchorvale Harvest

Finally we have gotten our keys after a long wait! This is my floor plan

First step was to source for IDs, which is the most tedious step of all, we have to take time off our previous weekend off to go 'shopping' for ID.

We have went to expo fair,IMM and some from Facebook adverts. We had gotten quotation from Rezt n relax, Ciseern, Absolook, North west, Weiken, Inspire by Dtrenzo, 9Degree and Urban Habitat. It is really very tedious to repeat everything over and over again for 8 times, trust me its no joke!

After 3 long moths of meeting 8 different IDs, getting quotation, we finally decided on Absolook! We first visited their showroom, and also visited their open house to check their workmanship, we then signed at the open house itself. My ID know what we want and also come up with new proposal and designs which me and my wife love. I dare not say their price is the lowest, but with their good reputation, good reviews and most importantly the ID made us feel comfortable and know what we want.

Here are the 3D drawings, cant wait for the end product! Reno is currently ongoing, hence some will be backdated post, been extremely busy, especially when we are going to ROM this December too.

Hi diva79, I only knocked off 1 wall which is at the study area

Went up on day 2 to see and the wall at study area was being hacked!

Sorry for the lack of update, had been an extremely busy month!

Bathroom tiles were the first to complete, my wife and I love it! We had always wanted a rustic resort style bathroom.

Nice renovation so far! like you, i am planning to hack the L-shaped wall of bedroom 3 for my 5 room BTO.

Other than getting a HDB permit, did you also have to engage a structural engineer to inspect the hacking?
