Ceiling fan (with LED light) in Bedroom pros and cons

Wow, this is the first time using ceiling fan, not really used to it

Pros: Save space, looks nicer than wall fan or standing fan. With the LED light, you can adjust 3 tones of the light.

Cons : I think if we are getting so used to switching on "ceiling light", you just switch it on from the wall. Now, I have a little problem! i am always looking for the remote control to switch on the light :( . Especially when you are not using the remote control alone,  you are with your spouse, you may not know where he / she put the remote control :jawdrop: then you ended up looking for the remote control first then you can on the light? :~:~ . Then now i have to think of a standardised location to put this remote control.

Ok, just feedback, please "like" this post if you agree :)

Had the same consideration before. I "fixed" my aircon and ceiling fan remotes on the wall just beside the switches light switches.

The aircon/fan remotes have holders.  The holders are drilled on the wall since I don't think I ever need to move it. Then just slot the remote into the holder.

if your remote does not have a holder. Find something that the remote can slide in snugly and 3M command picture tape the holder to the wall.

Just need to make sure that the position is still within the sensing range(line of sight in my case).

Velcro is an easy alternative though less lasting. They peel off and fur-ball up with use.

@Changbp, nope, my fan remote control doesn't have any holder, that's a very good idea, to find any holder and use 3M to stick the holder on the wall, thanks :good:

New sofa and TV came last week, Internet up this week, didn't get sound bar becos we prefer a dvd+blue ray player, not getting any coffee table to save space

The TV is 43", but still looks small ...
