AP-ID-AP Singapore Launch and the preview of APSDA Awards 2025
APSDA will be presenting the AP-ID-AP Singapore Launch, as well as the Preview of APSDA Awards 2025, FIND Design Fair Asia this year. The events will be held on September 27, at 3:25PM (GMT+8) at Basement 2, Marina Bay Sands.
The AP-ID-AP is one of the most important initiatives for the Interior Design fraternity in the Asia Pacific region, aimed to elevate interior design professional standards across the region. With applications now open to both Group A (APSDA Member Economies with a Common Assessment Scheme) and Group B (APSDA Member Economies without a Common Assessment Scheme) applicants, the launch will highlight the accreditation process and provide essential information for those looking to participate.
APSDA Awards 2025, one of the premier accolades for interior design in the Asia Pacific region, will be introducing new categories and updated judging criteria alongside the existing categories ‘Project of the Year’ and ‘Personality of the Year’. The 'Project of the Year' sub-category for Residential projects will now be categorized by size. Additionally, the introduction of the 'Best Project of the Countries/Territories' and 'Interior Products of the Year' categories will broaden the scope of recognition for exceptional achievements in the profession.
As part of the preview, the Silver Winner of the APSDA Awards 2023 in the Project of the Year, Retail Category will also take the stage to share their experiences and the journey behind their award-winning project, offering valuable insights into what it takes to stand out in this prestigious regional competition.
CARA (Critical Adaptive Regionalism for the Asia Pacific) Initiative Exhibition

The exhibition will run throughout the event, from September 26-28, 2024, featuring panels showcasing groundbreaking projects and insights from 42 leading Interior Designers across Asia Pacific.
The CARA (Critical Adaptive Regionalism for the Asia Pacific) Initiative is a unique endeavor that integrates regional culture into contemporary design, encouraging an in-depth understanding and integration of Asia Pacific culture into design works. Visitors to the booth will have the chance to explore how designers from each region are embracing cultural nuances and local contexts to create projects that not only address global challenges but also stay true to their regional roots. The CARA exhibition is proudly supported by Marano Furniture, a brand known for creating high-quality retail furniture for renowned international luxury brands. Since its inception in 2019, Marano has collaborated with celebrated designers across Asia, curating innovative thematic designs that evoke inner nobility. Their commitment to craftsmanship and artistic vision enriches the exhibition's exploration of cultural integration in design.
