No, although my purchases qualified for free global shipping, but when I check-out, the total still charged me shipping, so I've contacted Amazon before I proceed to payment. Amazon asked me to proceed with payment and emailed them my order number, then they will issue me a refund right away.

After moving into our unit, we found that there are more cracks on our cement flooring, although just hairline crack. Besides, we also felt dusty when stepping on it and we need to wash it often (pouring water and brush). Therefore, we decided to call Roy and ask if he had any solution for that. He recommended us to lacquer our floor but we were reluctant as thought that it could destroy the nature color of the cement. End up bo bien, so we gave it a try. Surprisingly, the color turned out to be better and also very nice to step. Wifey said that we should have done that earlier Before: and this is how it looks like now: Besides, Roy also prepared a unique bed frame for us, as we really have no budget to go for a proper bed frame dy It was done with 2 wooden pallets from the trash and he smoothed and painted it, and turned out to be great as well

oh yes.. i decided not to go with the stainless steel counter-top becos' i don't think i can stand the scratchy look although that's how it's supposed to look like. Moreover with a customised stainless steel top, it would mean that I wouldn't be able to install the kitchen sink I wanted. I would have to customise a kitchen sink as well and it's quite hard for them to achieve the look i want (ie. the almost 90 degree profile at the 4 edges of the sink) I wouldn't say I'm 100% happy with my current choice of counter-top becos' it turns out that the stone's color variation differs from the sample I chose initially, so it's not as dark as I wanted it to be. Apparently, it is common for natural stones to have around +/- 5% colour variation. Having said that, the overall effect still turns out to be pretty nice and acceptable.

For those who have PM or ask me about my review with Renzz & my ID Marcus, here’s my take on them (do note that I do not get paid writing this..lol…): Let’s start off the the shortlisting process. We have shortlisted quite a few before making the decision to go with Renzz. Key decisions are price (of course), how detailed the quotation is (I am very particular about details), how fast the ID/contractor response to us (of course you have to give them a break too and don’t expect instant replies but so far my ID has been able to response very well even before and after we signed the contract with Renzz. I have encountered some who don’t even reply to you or give you half-baked answers just ‘cos you have not sign with them) and of course the chemistry between us and the ID (a good ID to us must be able to understand what we want, make suggestions when we are at a loss, have some flexibility and not pushy. So far my ID has meet all of these which is excellent!) As for workmanship on the carpentry, so far my wife and I are pretty satisfied with it. Any defects or problems we just raised it up with our ID and he will response and make corrections if necessary. He will also take pics and send us that the defects has been retified. One thing I like about our ID is his “fast speed”. I remember discussing about boxing up some uneven part of the wall on my MBR in the morning, then evening when I come visit again, the uneven wall is already box up nicely. Maybe the worker just happen to be free I don’t know, but I like his fast action on things like that. As you know, I am a toy collector. Sometimes he whatsapp me on toys that he saw outside. This is what I am talking about. Good chemistry instead of a “strictly client and customer relationship.” Our home is almost 80% done now. I believe that our ID is going to do the handover by end April and so far we are happy with our decision to go with our ID and Renzz. As the saying goes, treat people like how you want to be treated. Treat people good and with respect and they will receiprocate. J

The film on the windows is a must thing if you want privacy without drawing curtains. I DIY two kitchen windows myself and simply loved the big floral designs on the green background. Mine blocked out sunlight too!! You can find appropriate ones at DIY stores. But the removing part I am not confident myself!

it's been 4 months and they still don't have stock. if the price is too good, it may not be true anyway, they don't know when the tv will have stock. oh i am also trying to look for a wallmounted washbasin that is 600mm wide, 410mm deep. the ikea one may be 1cm too wide. not sure if it's a good idea to sand it down.
