You make a good point actually, there is some thinking that darker coloured tiles make dirt invisible, but i think it depends on the type also, hmm

Last time i remember reading somewhere that those with parquet floor should not polish too frequently as it degrades the wood much faster

Sealing not only protects the stone but also helps it to remain clean much longer

I did not engage any ID. All design were done by myself. By the way, all air-con pipes from the compressor outside are concealed beneath my master bathroom and come out into the kitchen. In this way you can eliminate air-con trunking in the master bedroom.

For dry/wet polishing it depends actually on the type of material more than anything else

Really depends, if you have kids like me when they play their toys or play alot, that sometimes causes the stones to dirty fast also

In the past i tried the baking soda/vinegar solution, it made the problem worse, it made white patches on my homogeneous floor Luckily my contractor (one i had previously used), was nice enough to come and change the tiles for me (4/5 tiles) When i asked him how come baking soda had caused these white patches on my tiles, he said the baking soda has a mild bleaching agent inside that would eat into tile's enamel (if you check the contents yes baking soda has a mild bleaching agent as its content) So baking soda/vinegar 100% did not work for me, infact made the situation worse and seems to be more like an old wife's tale from my experience

Actually not necessarily, because sometimes the darker colours tiles may make dirt/stains more visible than lighter coloured tiles

Hi All. Share with you guys some bad experience for this digital lock I purchased. If you really want to buy SAMSUNG Lock, please buy from local authorize distributor After our Reno finAlly done up. We decided to Install a digital lock. We compare quote, seems this Parrellel importer quote is cheaper by $100 so we decided to go ahead. At that time we didn't know it's parallel importer. This research is done after problematic local from PI occurs. The different between parallel importer and authorize distributor is the following: 1. Parallel importer warranty is 1 year where local agent is 2 years. 2. Local agent come with master reset password but PI only have a fix master reset password. i regretted buying through a parallel importer. During sourcing, I also didn't know it's a parallel importer till the digital lock is faulty than checked with Samsung than realize that I had purchase through a PI rather than local agent. The product spoiled just 1 year and 10 DAYS! I call the seller to report such fault but claim that warranty expired, have to charge me $280 for the repair! I reason with them that it's warranty just expire 10 days cannot do exceptional? Die die also cannot. Understandable as their product is from oversea any replacement set will be at their own profit. I wrote to Samsung to complaint and was refer to their local authorized distributor. At this point I was like. ****. I bought a parallel importer set. So now I have to spend money for another new set of lock which buy from local distributor. In order to save for $100 I spent additional $699 for a dumb lock which serve me for 1 year and 10 days. by the way, once the lock is installed. most probably you have to use back similar brands of lock for future replacement cause the door opening once drill at the door cannot amend! Choose your lock and research wisely. Hope that helps.
