  1. Thanks Korea. I've always wanted to be a policeman.

    I'm a cyber policeman :jawdrop:

its ok whether dislike or whatever bcos i also dont even know you guys. it doesnt bother me. after all, this is just a forum.

numb liao lor with all the "4 police officers" comments. :jawdrop:

  2. Would you defy your parents/ family's wishes to be with someone you love just because they are different?

probably i wont defy my parents' wishes bcos parents only have two in this whole world and moreover they're the ones who brought me up. :)

  3. Hi NiVlek,

My Mrs is interested in Honda Fit 08 & me would prefer Toyota Vios but jus to check with u the Fit's bodykit iszit standard in everywhere and how much shall we top-up if we wan the bodykit? :)

So far is Fit reliable and any bad comment on it. :)

my hb's colleague bought the honda fit 08 and its slightly spacious than the older honda fit. it looks nicer too. :good: btw, if you prefer kah motor honda jazz then you've to wait awhile bcos the honda jazz 08 is coming soon. :notti:

Thanks for ur comment. Will seriously consider it together with Vios, err... does Vios also got bodykit? :(

dont forget bodykit does add weight to the car therefore the car will consume more petrol. :(

Yo. I think the Honda Fit 08 is a good choice. But I am starting to have the need to "entertain" and go on golf, the boot for Fit 07 is a little lacking for a golf bag. Otherwise, it is a good choice!!

My bodykit is not the standard bodykit, cost me close to 2K then. When I got it, I have 4 choices.

    - Honda Fit

    - Toyota Vios

    - Toyota Altis

    - Toyota Yaris

I chose Fit in the end due to sheer variety of kits available and I like the H. Vios is not for me as I hate the center dashboard. Altis too uncle for me and Yaris is erm, just dun like Toyota emblem. (Though I admit I like mark X and camry is value for $)

Fit is quite fuel friendly if you are like me driving more than 100km per day. So it is good, plus petrol is @*(#&!(*@&! expensive now.

you're also a fan of honda cars? my hb and me are also honda fans. our current car is a honda and the new car we ordered is also honda. :)

  4. how about ang mo and chinese marriage? this is tougher right? curious :P

ang moh and chinese marriage is already very common liao.

in life, maybe some people are really fated to be married to other races then if their marriages are not approved by the people around them, then how? once missed the chance then probably no more chance liao.

  5. sooo cute, isit powerful?

fit/jazz isnt very powerful but it can save petrol. :D

    mrs like tall tall cars,

she likes the feeling of seeing far far ahead ;)

me the opposite, i like to go low and stealth :)

in fact about 2 weeks ago, we went to see the Honda CRV at Ubi.

she drove the older CRV before and likes it.

personally, i find the interior refinement of the new CRV quite nice compared to the earlier model that mrs

    drove years back.

black nice, but then to maintain the dark rx8 already so hard, imagine have to use ladders to wax/polish the whole CRV :dribble:

but apple jie did say before CRV is not very good, power-wise. But never mind lah,

singapore roads nia, can move briskly can liao for such a big car..hehe

    mansbestfrennotext_crv.jpg

couple of months back, drove a Rush (not mine) to Chinese cemetary to baibai grandparents because din want to subject the rx8 to the muddy road there cos it was raining :P

overall impression quite alright. only thing i din really like is that the engine sounded like a lorry when moving off the traffic lights. I made fun of Mrs, by telling her that now I am the younger version of the uncle who was in his van next to us at the traffic lights, i can go delivery goods liao, irritated her of cos...haha :P

higher gears on the TPE/SLE/KJE seems good and quiet (much better than the lower gears), but there was this *floating* feeling that made me insecure travelling at 100km/hr even on the straights. It's an unfamiliar feeling of not *feeling* the tyres giving me feedback on how much traction there really is.

But for the price, the RUSH/TERIOS is a good consideration for those venturing into cheap miniSUVs. Those who like bigger but dun want to pay for the continental SUVs from BMW/Audi/Porsche can consider the RAV4 and CRV, or even applie jie's Xtrail, or Mitsubishi Outlander?

Of cos there's the SantaFes and Tucsons as well for those who support Korean rides :)

not gang fight, it is NO FIGHT.

wait till u see EVOs lining up the same way :yamseng:

:notti: honda CRV! my hb and my favourite! hehe. this is the car we eyed.:P

  6. Nice! I been wanting to change my car to RX8!

But got to hold back cos I just dump almost 30k to furnishings... =(

BTW, whats the deal with RX8 now. I saw a new facelift coming out soon!:dribble:

    My current small small ride...hehe

    normal_car-sized.jpg

that's either a fit or jazz, right? :P

    NiVleK,

There is a Getz right ?

i think it isnt getz. either fit or jazz. :dribble: oh ya! btw, the honda fit has a new facelift and its slightly more spacious. my hb's colleague just bought the new facelift honda fit. i heard the kah motor agent told us the honda jazz new facelift is coming soon. :P

  7. If its for one time use, then its ok if have no more use again. Still if its for 2 times.. 1 for PS, 1 for AD. the cost is separate & you're just paying 2 times more when can reuse the false eyelashes again & can buy a couple more ampoules first time. Unless the MUA will keep the eyelashes for you to re-use again esp if the dates are far apart rom each other & just pay again for the ampoule.

    Just my personal thought. :)

my MUA didnt keep the eyelashes for me bcos i threw it away after using for 1 time. to save the trouble buying them myself so i got the eyelashes and ampoules from MUA. :)

  8. Where can i buy my own eyelashes and ampoule?Which AD Photographer did u use?

How about the MUA? Did you use Venus or Singapore's MUA?

actually, your MUA should have the eyelashes and ampoule but you've to pay for them. i didnt have to get my eyelashes and ampoule bcos my MUA got them (just paid her money).

  9. u both TALL people mah, just like apple jie.

if inside low cars, the moment the car goes over the bump,

your heads will hit the roof and in no time the roof have 2 little humps , just nice the curvature of your heads :)

    different people different tastes,

give 300K to apple, she will buy one of the models of the porsche cayenne.

give 300K to me, i will get the GTR

give 300K to mrs, she will get the beemer 6 hardtop

    :notti:

oh, applefreak is also a tall person huh. :curse::P

usually, tall people may find saloon cars are too small for them. kind of like suffocated. :notti: SUV and MPV are just nice for tall people. i mean cars la. not lorry or van etc.

  10. fifteen may- 1 pair enough - white or silver will go ok with most gowns. Coz after the wedding, you seldom wear them.

    :)

ya, i agreed. 1 pair is really more than enough. :P

    Hi Korea,

How to prevent it from turning yellowish? Reason is that i bought my shoes 1 1/2 years before my AD! :curse: My shoe is cream white in colour.

you've to keep the shoes inside the shoe box. you cannot anyhow throw them aside bcos wedding shoes usually are either white, cream or silver color mah therefore if you dont keep properly and may turn yellowish easily. :notti:

  11. Hey all,

How many pairs of wedding shoes should we prepare?

I just bought my first one from Anna Nucci at a discount!

Me and my HTB were roaming around Harbourfront centre and saw that there was a newly opend Anna Nucci shop and they were having a sale!

Read that some brides here bought their shoes there, so i went to have a look :dunno:

So happy, bought my first strappy pair at $60 dollars! Usual price $90 because of the swarswoki crystals on the shoe. The salesgirl was quite nice and said that she would take a new one from the warehouse so no pics yet :yamseng: Will show you all when i get it.

So how many should i get? must prepare my HTB otherwise he will :sport-smiley-018:

erm, how many pairs? i only bought one pair. i used the same shoes for PS and AD bcos after the wedding and i dont wear anymore. i prefer slippers or sandals. :paint:

  12. Good for you. Mine does not have any false ceiling or anything to hide the wires like yours do 'cos we didn't do any major renovations at all. Just pretty much paint the house & lay flooring basically. !!

    29032008eu9.jpg

this is my bell chime (indoor)

we told our electrician to hide the wires inside the false ceiling. that's why when you told me yours have wires and i was puzzled. after that, i checked with my hb and he told me the wires already hid inside the false ceiling. !!

  13. I also headache 'cos HDB design till funny. Got doorbell switch + transmittor but no doorbell at all + ugly wires sticking out in kitchen. !!

my bell chime (indoor) doesnt have any wires. nice nice one. i forget where my electrician hid the wires liao. probably inside the false ceiling.

  14. i oso hesitate whether to fix, afraid pple press & press & play my door bell.

huh? you havent fixed doorbell yet? i fixed long ago liao bcos sometimes i cant hear when there's people knocking on my door esp when i'm in the bedroom. !!

my doorbell is clipsal but forget what the brand for the bell chime is liao.

  15. wah wah wah how you know my favourite make?

this used to be my dream car until a certain local female artiste started driving it :)

and heard from friend whose brother is driving it that it really drinks

definitely will drink a lot. my cousin used to drive lexus (think the SUV type) and also drank a lot. :) those people who can afford such cars and sure also can afford the petrol la. :D
