    I see a lot of recommendation for Brandt. 

    Can someone recommend an oven for regular usage to cook and bake? Eectrolux, Brandt or Borsch? Or any other brands that you feel is good. One of the criteria is to have 3 layers of glass in front so that the oven is not hot to touch when in use.

    Found the resale unit we got has drywood termite in one of the built in cabinets. 

    We gave consulted 2 pest control companies. 1 suggest to spray chemicals to kill it before hacking away. 

    The other said not to agigate them or they may spread. Just tear down the structure. 

    We are already living in there. Can somone share your own experience on how to get rid of them effectively?

    I'm hunting for full natural latex too. Any brands now to recommend since the last post coz this thread was 7 yrs ago.

    European bedding, getha, bayshop, willow or woosa?

    Want a reliable brand that wont sag and no VOC.

    Tempur for me. Their pillows are the best!

    The mattress is indeed a little warm but if you buy the cooling egyptian cotton mattress cover, prob is kind of solved. Some people tell me that to get the memory foam feeling, they get a topper but i don't think it can compare to a mattress that is fully memory foam.

    Going to get a bigger mattress in 6 mths time and not sure if I should keep to Tempur. I read latex is less warm. Anybody has comparison feedback so far?

    Beautiful Dutch inspired one of a kind solid teak table sourced from Java by Journey East.

    This is a vintage piece that was constructed in the 1960s. We fell in love with it right away and have received quite a few compliments for it. The gorgeous streamlined legs gives a light feeling to the table and makes a small space feels bigger. The detailing on the legs are interesting too. Size is Table 172(l) x 86(w) x 75(h) cm.

    Commune Cas Ret Beige 3 Seater Sofa,  Measurement: 205 x 93 x 80 CM

    Comes in beige and easy to match. Original price is about $2000 and has been used a few years with no defects. In very good condition. All cushion covers except back ones are removable and washable, including the cylindrical ones. We've always used it with a sofa cover as in 2nd pic so no stains on fabric whatsoever. Used in a pet free and smoke free house and away from sunlight. Good depth for comfortable seating and we're selling it coz we're moving soon. Colour is like in the 3rd pic.

    My old canopy/built in cooking hood is of width 700mm only and there's no more replacement anymore. I have no space to fit even a 720mm in as it is cut out exactly to this width.

     

    I have been advise to remove and redo all kitchen cabinet to replace this hood but this is an very expensive option just for the hood.

     

    Can someone advise what other optins there are and is a hood very crucial to everyday cooking with light stir frying?

    Which brand of hood is good for frying? to suck out the oil and all effectively? i need a canopy one and got recommended a slim FUJIOH one and the ladt said it's the same but FUJIOH suction is better.

    What about gas hob? Any to recommend too?

    I cook a lot, have 2 young kids and I steam, stir fry and hubby cooks steak once in a while and it'll be a mess.

    I can tell you they anyhow quote kind. They're just opposite my place and I made curtains with them before and when I went back to try to make 1 more 2 years later, the price was rubbish. They can just dropped and it was still high. I just walked away.

    The guy that came and fixed my curtains back then was also very rude. Avoid them at all cost!

    My estate wants us to remove the wooden/PVC blind as they get black after a while. Their advice is to replace with The grey partial black out kind as in the link above (http://www.mingsliving.com/#!blinds/c158d).

    So now, we're considering to remove totally or to a new replacement. Anyone has good recommendations for blinds company or maybe even just for removal only as we won't be able to do it ourselves.

    Hi all have been cheated by my housing agent pls advise on what i should do. This is my letter to propnex but till now no reply from them my first Appt is 2 Jan 09 PLS advise

    Hi,

    I would like to seek redress with your company regarding one of ur agent.

    Namely Mike Ang or something HP number 96

    I sold my current flat at .....by using his services.

    We agreed that the 2% charges will be implemented once my falt is sold.

    We were ask to sign forms by him by which he explains that it is the procedure before he can proceed. Fair enough, me and my wife we sign on the blank copy given in which he says he will fill it up once we got the selling price of my current flat.

    We also agreed that if he can completes my buying as well. I will pay him a seperate 1 % commision.

    To our horror after i requested for the OTP which he fails to give to me and all the other forms i had signed, he EMAIL me with a discrepancies in the details. He now says that he is actually charging 2.5% for helping me to sell my house as he had difficulty in finding buyer. This is totally unreasonable behaviour on the part of your company staff.

    I am only going to pay him the agreed 2% commission and nothing more.

    I am writing to your company first to have this sort out and i am expecting a favourable reply from the company. Failing which, further steps would be taken to seek redress. I can be contacted anytime at

    i heard quite a few bad experience with Propnex agents too.My bf who is an agent also faced probs with a few of them.

    i think you should contact Propnex and see whether they can help or just blow up the issue to the press then.
