    Hi Guys,

    I will be collecting my key on June, have been reading the forum for the past month and saw many bad experiences with the renovation.

    So my wife and I decide to coordinate the whole renovation on our own.

    I know this will be a difficult task but also due to the tight budget , we have no choice.

    Appreciate if you guys can help to recommend any of the following or if you are providing the service or any good lobang

    If you kinda know what designs you want (assume so since you are looking at individual contractors now), you may wana try out a contractor. I'm using Chng Poh Guan Construction now and I must say their workmanship is quite good, at a good price. They cover all the items you listed and you only need to liaise with one point of contact. If you want, pm me for contractor's contact.

    We spoke to Mr K from Ideal House. He is really good, asked the correct and relevant questions, quick to respond and pricing is really competitive. He was in our Top 2. So for folks interested to contact him, quite recommended.

    In the end we didnt choose him though. We decided to get a contractor instead for budget reasons. Can get same things done and good workmanship at lower cost. Only thing is you need to know the design you want.

    I am renovating now and I've engaged Chng Poh Guan as well. Mr Toh is my contractor in charge, understand there are 2 Mr Tohs there. So far so good. Very responsive, always answer phone calls. Workmanship is good, brought us to view his projects before we signed. We chose them cos of workmanship, responsiveness and price. Easily cheaper than most IDs. Only thing is uncle dunno much design, most likely give u contemporary. best is u research what u want first and tell him what u want. I want industrial + vintage, he can do. Just have to show him pictures of what we want.
