I recently went to scout for a few contractors for my new BTO. Eventually I found a contractor who gave quite a reasonable quote.
His attitude and responsiveness is up to my standard and most importantly he gave good advice to not overspend on the unnecessary stuffs. I have also went to one of his projects and overall satisfied with the works
However, I found out recently (Google his company) that his company has been suspended by HDB for applying a renovation permit on behalf of a non-registered company.
Now I am thinking if I should still engage him. What are your thoughts on companies like this?
Thanks.

Hi, just wondering if any of your contractor/ID charged you for the hacking permit.
I saw a charge of $250 in my quotation for a hacking permit?
