  1. Hi...

At Chatuchak...there are shipping companies within the market...you can engage them to ship your bulky purchases back.

I din't try it b4 myself but their business seem pretty good...so the rates should be quite ok...at Chatuchak I got myself some crockery...they have nice stools and small sofas too...they also have home accessories like salt & pepper sets...vases...dried flowers...display stuff...

At the shopping centres like Central Zen....they have a nice section selling home accessories...we got a clock there...we also bought a Pee-man lamp from Propaganda....take your time to shop around BKK and I'm sure you will not come back empty-handed...hehe... :P

  2. Hi applefreak..

I think you mean Sia Huat isit?

I got my crockery mostly at Ikea...Hmm...maybe you can try OG or Isetan too...

If you are going BKK, go Chatuchak and buy some...its really cheap there! I found a design similar to a bowl I got from Ikea selling at a fraction of what I paid and end up buying two more there...hehe...

But it is very heavy and fragile to lug back...hubby was complaining liao... :yamseng:

  3. Hi I have a L-shaped walk in wardrobe too...everyweek i give it a dust with the feather duster...as my wiw is just outside the toilet...i also take precautions to prevent mould by putting two Hippos...hee..

I think the clothes get more dusty than hidden with a cupboard with doors...but a WIW was a dream I had to realise in my new home...hehe...the convenience of coming out from the toilet and changing direct is also another factor...

Besides our cosy platform, our WIW is also one of the favourite feature of our home!

  4. My banquet hotel required us to make a deposit of 3k upon signing of contract...the rest was paid after the banquet...they were really nice to bill us only when we check out of the bridal suite the next day.... :notti:

I think some hotels do practise full payment or staggered payment before the banquet day itself though...

  5. Hi weixiaobao...

We did it at ROM centre too with "Love That Binds" in Sept 2006...dunno if they still provide this service..hee...

We paid for a package that includes securing their function room (which is decorated nicely) at the date and time that we prefer...with all the arrangements like JP included....

  6. This is my lovely wallpaper from Goodrich...Hehe...its our feature wall too!

Hi alpha...my wallpaper seems quite easy to maintain...I dint even do anything so far to clean it...hehe...I think as long as your wall does not get direct sun it should last you quite some time...but of course if you have kids around must watch that they don't treat your wall like a drawing canvas!
