Hi all, I am looking for 2 ceiling fans with lights for my living room.. My criteria is 56" with enclosed lights. I dont want those with lightbulbs cos cleaning within the lights can be tedious. I did some survey and noticed that most fans with lights comes with 18W LED only. I went to a shop at IMM level 3. They offered me a Mercury brand 56" fan with 24W light installation but I searched on internet on "Mercury Ceiling Fans" but no results came up. Anyone used this brand before? I actually asked the shop assitant the difference between Fanco fans and Mercury Fans. He mentioned that the Fanco fan's body is made of metal and will rust over the years where as Mercury Fan's body is made of ABS (Arcylic) and no chance to rust. However, my concern is that most shops they offer only 18W light. If I customise to 24W light, will it affect my warranty and the lifespan of my fans?

Hi All, I am looking to buy as much furnishing under 0% instalment under credit card. Looking to stretch from 12 months to 36 months if possible. I have been able to do this for TV, Fridge, Aircon and Mattress Have not had much luck for ceiling fans, sinks, toilet. Any suggestions? Thanks

hi folks, I need your advise with regards to installation of a Ceiling fan at my residence. Considering there's only One Electrical point in the ceiling, my options are: 1. Install a Fan with lights 2. Install a Fan and draw separate wiring from the existing point for the light. Understand Option 2 is likely to cost more than Option 1 and will require additional wiring all the way to the Switch, Can anyone give me a ball park estimate of how much each option is likely to cost, if you have a similar set up at your place ? Welcome your recommendation on a good Handyman who can help me with this setup as well. thanks ahead Cheers

Currently looking at reliable ceiling fans with lighting (prefer but not limited to LED lights) Any recommendations? KDK, Elmark, Crestar, Fanco, Amasco and so on... where design and look is subjective, what about reliability? Personally, I've been using KDK and they seem so ever reliable ! Do share your experiences, opinions, advices and recommendations. Thanks bros and sis' ! P.S. Would love a Haiku fan but let's put that aside for now... too pricey !
