hi im looking for a good contractor who can renovate my living room (hdb 5 room flat ) at a good rate . i have meet up with some designer/contractor and they are charging me over 20k just to do my living room . 20k for all whole house painting , lighting , cove l box false ceiling , and the TV wall console set which is FREAKING EXPENSIVE . anyone out there who have ever engaged a good contractor at a reasonable price kindly PM me . thank you .. -

Hi Bros n Sis, I'm looking for contractors to do wall plastering, rewiring & painting for my old 3rm hdb flat. Anybody got contractors to recommend? And also i hope to get the sequence right. 1. pasterwall 2. painting 3. rewire correct? Hi guys, appreciate your advice. I'm planning to paint my new purchased re-sale HDB flat and also varnish the 3 bedroom parquet floors. But since I'm short of time, I've already lived in. Got quotation from Nippon painting today but they could only start work after Christmas (price is also a bit high). Questions 1. I'm thinking to get contractor re-varnish the bedroom floors first, but worry the painting would make the floor dirty. Is that the right order? 2. The Nippon servicing guy recommend me to apply sealant on the whole room before they paint. That will cost me additional $400 plus.. But my flat walls are quite clean and not mouldy, is that really necessary?

Hi all, I am a newbie ! I hope someone can help with true recommendation on good painter and carpenter company. I had used a few contractors but all are those typical irresponsible contractors. I am staying at bukit panjang condo, I would like to do painting for the whole house including ceilings. I am also planning to get good carpenter to do a small short cabinet in one of the room. Please.... begging all the experts house owner to give me the contact of GOOD and Responsible contractors. Thanks in advance !
