  1. Been using this for almost 15 years. First time this problem happened. Now come to think of it, could be because of too much movements or too much force caused by me when fixing the flexible "input" pipe when the rubber is too old already or the white tape gone. At first i thought that was the problem, but after replacing the white tape and replacing rubber, it was still leaking, so end up realizing the problem went further up. 1) Is there any way for me to fix or replace that part? Looks like I'll need to get a spare from Bosch. 2) I am also considering to replace it to a new water heater since its really old. Was thinking of going to CityGas near my place to look for new ones with installation. 3) I am worried that the location of the new water heater inputs might be different from my old one. Meaning there will be pipe works to be done... Any advice?
  2. Hi everyone, just started reno on my brand new bto home. found out that my ID's contractor damaged a pipe and didnt report it, ended up causing my bedroom to get flooded. we opted for the HDB timber floorboards. the leak found its way through the walls and through the skirting, and gradually flooded the place for over 48 hours. i have mopped up as often as i could, but overnight, it would just flood the entire bedroom. how resilient are the floorboards to this type of water damage? does it need to be completely replaced?
  3. Hi fellows. I changed the default tap outlet that came with my toilet handspray tap to another type of adaptor so that I can connect, i.e. screw in, a handspray to use. What's perplexing to me is that the areas (seams) where the new adaptor joins the tap outlet, & where the handspray joins the adaptor, leaks/squirts water when the handspray is connected. The following video demos everything: https://youtu.be/sDANZystt4s This happens despite/regardless: everything is tightened as much as possible I applied thread-seal ("white") tape at all areas my handspray is actually "released", i.e. water allow to flow out ("in use") whether I fully turn on the tap outlet or turn it on very so slightly only, i.e. a lot of water being received on the mains side, or very little water being pumped in all the black O-ring/water-saving thimble all installedI just don't understand why there is still squirting. The more amazing thing is, once I reverted to the original outlet adaptor, i.e. the kind that have to be used to a rubber hose & has no external screw thread for connecting handsprays, even without thread-seal tape & full-blast main tap, also no leak! What gives? The adaptor that I changed to is on the left; the original one that came with my tap, is on the right: Can assist? Or did I buy the wrong type of adaptor? But the size correct leh...
  4. http:// Hi All, I need advise. My Unit recently just went thru the HIP Upgrading Prog.Unfortunately after it was completed, the contractor told me that the unit right below my unit is leaking and they need to find the source of the leak.Above pic is what they had done to find out the source of leak. They even rehack my toilet partially.I am concern with what they are doing but do not know where and how to seek advise.I hope you all can advise me on that the contractor is doing and if it is right or wrong. What steps should I take and what I should do. Regards Haizal
