Hi all I need recommendations for waterproofing and repair of roof. My family home (Landed House) is being fully renovated (tear down and rebuild) but the current contractor is very slip-shod. The ceilings, and windows in some of the bedrooms have water leaking in. There is now mould growing on the ceilings! The roof is a cement/concrete roof. Not a tiled or zinc roof. I’m afraid if this current contractor isn’t going to do a good job, we have to find another solution. The house is still under renovation (nearing the end of the process). Thanks.
Hi guys, I am getting my bto flat next year. Wish to extend my hdb bto toilet. Wish to ask if anyone has wrote in to hdb and done this successfully before? I dont mind voiding the warranty and do waterproofing on the extended areas. Also appreciate if anyone has a letter template to write in to HDB on this too. Thanks much!
Hi All, We had moved to a newly TOP Project for about 1 year, we have been experiencing multiple leaking issue and it hasn't ended yet. Each time there's a leaking they jab sealant in the wall, hack flooring and redo the waterproofing but they still can't solve the problem. It happens once every 3 months. Everytime it happen we had to be home for about a week to let their contractor come up to our place to hack the flooring and redo the waterproofing, or if not they will have to jab sealant into the wall to fill up the gab. It's was a nightmare for us because each time they come up we had to clean the house all over again for the dust and mess. It has been more than 10 times they come up for such issue, and still yet to find the root of the leak. We had tried to send email to BCA for help. However what BCA reply was disappointing. They do not handle leaking issue and we will have to contact the management or the developer for quality issue. Despite multiple Emails to Qingjian, nobody from Qingjian actually contacted me except the same MA guys who's gg to do the same thing over and over again. Anybody here can advise us what we can do and what's our rights as a owner? HELP !
Cement added with K 21 : SBR LATEX will have: Strengthens cement Improved bonding strength by 2 to 3 times to 30.57 kg/cm2 Especially good for bonding homogeneous tiles, granites and marble tiles, and to prevent staining Increased flexural and compressive strength by 40% to 100% Compressive strength to 570.00 Kg/cm2 Flexural strength to 127.41 kg/cm2 (ASTM C 39) Quicken cement setting time Reduced surface cracking and dusting, forming a very tight seal Good for wall plaster, wet area and swimming pool waterproofing 10 to 20 times more resistant to oil, salt water, chloride, acid and vapour penetration. A feature particularly important in steel reinforced concrete structure. Improved plasticity and flow (ASTM C 124-71), easier to work with, reduces porosity
