anyone tried the air con servicing done by GAin City.... ?

Would appreciate some comments.

Quoted $85 for servicing 3 fan coil units.

Notice that my aircon ledge is always wet. Not soaking wet but can see trails of water. Definitely not from the rain so I guess it must be the compressor. Is it a norm? Juz installed the aircon a few mths back only.

Can those who engaged Emetech share how much u had paid for the services?

I got this quote yesterday from another co.:

1) chemical & steam clean fancoil - $50/- each

2) steam flush & top up gas for condensing unit - $60/-

Finally got my air-con serviced

Fancoils:

1) Remove cover & filtering cover for washing

2) Brush & vacuum the filter or maybe diffuser or what.

3) Spray chemical & Steam wash

Condenser

1) Vacuum & steam wash without chemical

2) Remove cover to check for the noise at my request

3) Top up gas for all the 3 units of fancoils

Total damage: $200/-

No idea whether is it a cheap deal but I asked the staff to steam wash 1 wash basin that always have small bugs crawling around.

Smart hor, ofcourse is done where the boss is not around.

I got my aircon serviced at Singapore Aircon and i find them quite good. Been using them for years liao.

I have been using all best service, no problem at all.

I have 10 pieces of $10 service voucher with them selling at 50%.

Hi all,

Please do not use Altantic Engineering from Tampines.

After they chemical washed my 2 fan units in Jun, one of the aircon unit become not cold in 2 weeks time. When they came to check the issues, they told me the PCB is spoilt and I had to replace the PCB! I suspect their washing had caused the issue. I've never serviced my aircon and everything is working fine. The guys who came are not experienced, they had to be on the phone with someone to know what to check...
