How to remove mould ???

Recommended Posts

The active agent in most mould killers is chlorine. So, you can use diluted bleach to clean the silicon. Think it is best that you use it weekly when you clean the bathroom. Don't think there is a once and for all product 'cos the bathroom is always exposed to water.

for that you need to remove the old silicon and apply new layer of ANTI-MOULD silicon.

cos the mould(black thingy) is inside the silicon, no way you can clean it.

Yap, get the metal scraper as what Mace suggested.

If you have a big area, don't get over ambitious.

Cos it is not easy to remove old sealant.

After scraping (go easy) .Then spray on 3M Citrus-Based Adhesive Remover Spray

This will soften the remaining sealant. Apply grease, using cloth over your nail

to remove all remaining sealant.

Prepare the joint with masking tape to faciliate applying new sealant

Peel off tape before it dry up.

Remember to find a good time to do, not while you are busy and that

this area will be not use. Cos new sealant need to cure dry.
