Bedok Central

Recommended Posts

The bulky removal service does not include the dismantling or the removal of build-in furniture and renovation debris. Items such as cabinet and built-in wardrobe must be dismantled before it is removed. Some town councils do not provide this service to residents who are shifting houses.

So it is best for u to call your town council & source for the info that you need.

Those who want a good laugh can read page 4 of the current issue East Coast Town Council newsletter, East Coast News.

Hint: It's the captions.

On other news, I discovered a model agreement on home renovation by CASE.

D.arn! Should have used it for the cosmetic additions operation of my unit.

For those who is using the Green telco in Linear Green, u can now enjoy unlimited local voice, video calls and local SMS to any mobile or fixed line numbers.

Mobile and MaxOnline hubbers are set to enjoy even greater benefits as StarHub launches ‘Home Zone’, the world’s first commercially-available 3G femtocell service. 3G femtocell connects a user’s 3G mobile phone directly to a MaxOnline-enabled router in the home so that users can make voice and video calls and send SMS over StarHub’s cable network from their mobile phones. Now you can enjoy it for a low flat fee of $16.05*/mth (Usual: $32.10/mth). *Sign up before 31 December 2008 to enjoy Home Zone at $16.05 per month for 12 months.

StarHub is making all local outgoing voice, video calls and SMS free for customers using the ‘Home Zone’ service, ensuring that users, who make frequent mobile calls and SMS from home, can enjoy significant cost-savings on their mobile phone bills.

Singtel's mio Mobile is better:

mio Mobile service, using Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), is a technology that allows you to use the Internet connection for your mobile calls by sending the voice data in packets using IP rather than through the local telephone switch.

mio Mobile is a unique service in its kind which combines the mobility of cellular and the cost-effectiveness of wireless broadband. mio Mobile service will allow our customers to make unlimited local calls over the Internet using their VoIP-enabled devices. You can make outgoing calls thru the mio Mobile service using your WiFi network at home or through the extensive SingTel Wireless@SG network or any WIFI Hot Spot.

As long as you are a SingTel Mobile Postpaid subscriber, you can sign-up for mio Mobile as a Value-Added Service (VAS) at $10.70 per month.
