Mine is a 8kg washing machine. Decided to go for a bigger one so that can wash curtain, bedsheet, etc etc.

Front load washing machine typically use less water and can have the dryer stack up on top. But need to bend down to get the clothes out and cannot add in more clothings once the washing starts...

Not an expert, but these are some pros and cons I could think of.

Depending on the material also. For denser textile which are commonly used for curtain, need to wash the two sides separately if using smaller washing machine.

Bedsheet typically is okay, but if washing comforter set then a smaller washing machine may not be able to handle.

i'm using a 5kg front-load drum

loading is done from the top though

went for it coz it's only 40cm wide :good:

no problem washing queen size bedsheet + thermal blanket

comforter must wash in one cycle alone :yamseng:

Using a 6.5kg from samsung, front load.

2 ppl, 2 loads a week. Any extra would be to wash towels, bedsheets etc.

Full bedsheet set can go in with space for towels.
