Renovation Quote From Courts

Hi Guys, am a newbie to this reno staff . i received this estimated quote from Courts in house ID

Found it too ex .(is it the market price ?) will ikea be cheaper.Is there items that perhaps i could cut down to meet my budget of 15-20K. The flooring has already been done and its a brand new 5 room.

Basically just looking to do up the kitchen two toliets and the 3 rooms

1) MASONARY WORKS

Kitchen

a Supply labour and materials to construct kitchen cabinet, fridge and $1,550.00

washing machine base only

:-inclusive of matching tiles, inlet and outlet pipes

2) PLUMBING WORKS

a Supply and install Double piping in stainless steel to 2 Baths, Kitchen $3,000.00

and washing machine point

b Supply labour only to install self purchased tap fittings to kitchen sink, $750.00

2 basins, 2 bidet spray and 2 shower

c Supply labour only to install self purchased Storage heater (1nos.) $350.00

1st time hear someone gettin reno quote from courts!

actually, did u go around those reno co as stated n recommeded by fellow forummer and make comparison? i doubt IKEA will b cheaper.... or consider gettin contractor if u only need basic work n already have ur own design in mind.

I think you should source for quotes at other id or contractors ..with 40 k they can do a lot more than that.. i believe..then once u have the lowest quote go to other id to get lower price..or more free items

wah! this is really 'chop' ppl price!......it's a very very big markup on their end.

Courts only have furniture. The rest of the items are really very expensive.

Shop around more. This forum will provide you with tons of information.

have u tried other ID/contractors before for the same requirements?

either they dun want to do for u, quote ex-ex.. or they trying to chop u.

the man-effort markup very high. must be highly paid workers.
