Health Hazards : Plaster & Granite

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I have heard of some health hazard using these. Hope to find out whether it is myth or fact :

Plastering (below quoted from a scientific study done by a professor)

1. Plaster dust (calcium sulfate) is slightly irritating to the

eyes and respiratory system. In situations where there is

heavy inhalation of the dust, more severe respiratory

problems can result.

2. Potassium sulfate and potassium alum are slightly toxic

by ingestion; potassium alum is slightly toxic by skin

contact, and can cause mild irritation or allergies in some

people.

3. Borax is moderately toxic by ingestion, by inhalation,

and by absorption through burns or other skin injuries. It

is also slightly toxic by skin contact, causing alkali burns.

4. Concentrated acetic acid is highly corrosive by

ingestion, inhalation, and skin contact.

5. Burnt lime (calcium oxide) is moderately corrosive by

skin contact (especially if the skin is wet), and highly toxic

by inhalation or ingestion.

6. Many of the additives used may be hazardous. Silica

and vermiculite dust are highly toxic by inhalation, and

may cause silicosis. Small amounts are not a major

hazard.

Composite Granite Sink

also radiation issue due to granite material in the composite granite sink

Hope those who are familiar with these paoducts is able to explain further. Thanks.

The everyday carbon monoxide, cigg's smoke, fumes from various solvents such as wet paint, glue, etc are wayyyy more toxic than what you had listed.

He*k, scientists have also proven that inhaling too much oxygen is harmful to our body as well!

Where do you draw the line?? To stay healthy and live longer, the primary rule of thumb is to eat well, sleep well and exercise! All these external factors not within our control, don't fret too much...

well, what do you want us to say?

i believe those under plastering is true

that's why there's such a term called 'occupational hazard' mah

as for granite, the amount of radiation is not enough to do harm to our body

you think anyone will dare to go vivo or orchard mrt if it'll kill them??? :notti:

I'm curious what other people think about CBD ingredients and their effectiveness in reducing or improving symptoms associated with mental disorders? After all, this is more often talked about on forums than about plaster. I believe that this is almost a panacea for all diseases and I would like to know how much https://renasorganic.com/product-category/cbd-cream/cbd-cream-1000-mg/ can help people.
