Supreme Laminate Floor Warranty

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys,

I think 5K is not bad for laminate flooring for 2 bedrooms, but maybe you wanna try bamboo flooring , the price is not too far different, I heard 2 bedrooms can cost S$ 3800,-. and it is given 20 years guarantee, which is very rare.

Bamboo is much healthier (esp. for with respiratory problems), durable and stronger than laminate flooring. The finishing is also nice, you can see it in The Heeren outer deck. As you can see, the flooring can sustain outdoor regime, so they wouldn't have problem in HDB. We did it as well, and it is safe for our babies.

If you are interested, I can give you the contact trough email.

Cheers

Considering that 2 bedrooms to have floor area of about 30sqm = 323 sqft, 5K sum would translate to S$15.48 per sqft which is super expensive for laminate.

As for Bamboo, would you have the product specification and pricing to share?

thx

What's bamboo flooring?

Holy,

Bamboo flooring is flooring material made of bamboo, but finishing like teak.

Based on quality, is much better than laminating floor (healthier, more durable, same price)

You should check in The Heeren outdoor deck, its nice, and it is also applicable in indoor.

Cheers

Is this price for Supply and Install?

As for Green Labelling, i understand products relating to Building and Contstruction will not be given renewal under the Green Lablling Scheme as it will be superceded by new Scheme under SGBC/SGBP http://www.sgbc.sg/index.php/certification/product_label/ . This is to allow for more control to the definition of a Green product by adhering to a set of standard and stringent test conditions.

Factors affecting the price are usually the following

1) Material used (Mao Zhu in original form is of lower density)

2) Dimension hence Thickness x Width x Length (Thickness is often the main consideration)

3) Density upon processed (as in how much raw materials being packed in to produce the product. better with higher density)

4) Joint profile whether is it tongue and groove or click system

5) Top coat used (Water based may not be desirable for scratch resistance)

Yup, the price is for supply and install. All your consideration are mentioned in the specification above.

Top coat can be oil based or water based.

Oil based is just as undesirable resulting to even higher VOC emissions.

What is the density kg/m3? Would you have any product sample to show?

Thx
