Quick Overview:

Brand New Condo - just TOP - 95 sqm

Reno scope: Minor hacking / removal of some walls, touch up hacked areas, Living Room revamp, Master Bedroom revamp, Wallpapers for the whole house, lighting works

Total Damage: $29,000

Breakdown

1) Hacking / Dismantling Works

To hack existing master bedroom door & door frame $150

To hack existing designated master bedroom walls $750

To dismantle existing master bedroom wardrobe $150

2) Ceiling works

S&C false ceiling with light holder - 100sqft - $400

what is 29K

carpentary always expensive

whacking a wall.. u better check with the management before you go and whack.

It is just TOP, the condo need to pass a check to get a cerf which can't remember what it's call.

If cannot cref due to ur whacking, u need to change all back

Just like medicine in different ward of hospital cost differently. the same panadol in ward A is more expensive than the same panadol in ward C.

Why not u ask for quotation for a 4 room flat, it will be much cheaper. when more or less confirm tell them its a condo.

Hi there!

Sounds about right. Your list of tasks to be carried out is similar to an overhaul, but for a brand new condo, it should have almost everything in place, but then again it's a matter of preference.

We are getting ours done at almost the same costs as yours but ours is 10 years old.

Have you gotten a second opinion?
