Recommend Any Good Agent

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I am looking into buying a 3 room flat in Hougang.

I am a first time buyer and kinda confuse by the procedure.

Is it better to engage a property agent so he/she could find my dream home?

I have found some units on some of the HDB resale websites and keen.

Can anyone recommend a good property agent?

tks.

I would suggest that you read up on HDB official website (www.hdb.gov.sg) to find out about the procedures, recent transacted prices in Hougang, etc. Also check out the newspapers and go view more properties before you commit.

Agent is always secondary; they are merely a tool to help you in your paperwork, legwork and negotiation. At the end of the day, my advice is not to take any agents' advice and always make an intelligent decision based on your own research.

I sold my condo thru a Propnex Agent: Laurence. He's very good, professional, and most importantly, patient with all my queries. You can try calling him on 8200 6042

saying it is easy, doing it is another story especially when we need to work at least 5 days a week, where got time unless u r not in a hurry to purchase one. am not in a hurry type & tried without an agent. i would say it's not easy especially when it comes to viewing arrangement. many doesn't even bother to entertain when knowing that i'm not an agent, unless happen that the ad is by the owner.

sometimes i do felt that the 1% comm is too much to pay for but again, we saved a lot of time, etc with an agent.

I would like to recommend Charmaine Tan from DWG, HP 9115 7888 She sold my place within 3 days. Very committed and very important down to earth. No nonsense and you won't be hit by surprises or hidden agenda. I had so much problem with my HDB purchase and she was with us all the way. I can't stand those cunning agents, I've posted my experience in another thread. All I can say is I'm staying away from Propnex. I think alot of us had some bad experience with them.
