Fabric Cover For Sofa

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I have bought a PU sofa recently. But now i can see dirt marks on it clearly.Might be because the sofa is of a light shade.

I wish to get a fabric cover for my 2-seater sofa as a protection so that it wont be spoiled so easily.

Do anyone know somebody who sew fabric cover?

Pls help

i'm not sure how does yr sofa looks like, but one good practical way to solve this is to buy those bed sheets and cover yr sofa.

one advantage is that you can choose the designs and color of the bedsheets to match to your likings

another benefit is you can wash anytime u want and use another bedsheet as new cover.

another benefit is bedsheets are alot more comfortable to sit on.

dun waste $$ making sofa covers. you ask those owners of fabric sofas on how the covers will shrink over time and it become almost impossible to put the covers back.

and you can't change the covers so easily once you get sick of the design/colours.

for a 2 seater sofa, you can use single size bedsheet to cover it properly. you can just slot the sheet in between the armrests and the cushion, if your sofa permits that.

of course it depends how yr sofa looks like first. some sofas are very bulky. use bedsheets wont be nice.

if yr sofa is those sleek designs, using bedsheets will look nice. Of course the colour/design of bedsheets plays a big part.

Thanks a lot for the valuable advice.

I think this should be a more practical way which i can try.

My sofa is a PU 2-seater . Its a high back sofa and not of the sleek design.

But anyway, i will try to cover the sofa wth bedsheet and see how it looks.

My ultimate goal is to give it some protection from dirt, sweat.Otherwise i fear it

may get spoiled fast .
