Home & Furnishing: Color of your Walls!

Recommended Posts

Mine is a 5 Room 110 sqm.Planning for re-paint the whole unit .I have gone through the nippon site and their package for 5 room is 1650 for Supreme package./1550 for std package.

They also provide free painting for 5 doors/2 pipings/1 grill(?).

How much will be approx.cost if i engage an ID/Contractor ? Will that cost include Doors/grills/Pipes or seperate cost for them ?

Any recommendation for any professional painting companies/ID'S ?

Look for Straits Times Saturday edition. you can see many paint services adds. They are way too cheap compared to Nippon.

If i remember correctly. Painting doors/grills will will be extra. But, no harm in asking them.

Looking for good contractors? Click here for your request
Our painter quoted me $1300 (using the top-end paints)

for my 5-room flat.

He's very nice, reliable & responsible.

Whenever I pointed out spots for him to touch-up, he'll do so willingly

till I'm satisfied.

Anyone looking for a good painter, do PM me :)

Hi booksntoys,

Is he the one you PM me? Is he okay if I have about 6 colours for 2 bedrooms and living room?

Do you have photos to share?

Yes, he's the one.

U have to negotiate with him re the numbers of colours.

Here's one from Nippon Odourless All in 1 - Maldives Sand - for our TV wall

Here's one from Nippon Easy Wash - Natural Cane - for our dining wall

I've 2 other colours for my bedrooms + 1 white (Odourless No.1142) for the rest of the house.

ICI and Nippon r 2 diff brand how can they be mixed? Good construction practice is 1 layer of selaer as base coat + 2 or 3 layers of paints.
