The Pinnacle @ Duxton - S2

Recommended Posts

Hi fttw

I checked the IKEA bathroom sink and the width was 100cm.

However, yours seem shorter as the IKEA standard 100cm has lots more space on the right side of the bowl.

Did you cut the sink?

What is your dimension now?

how much did your contractor charge you for the bottom drawers?

Can you upload pictures of the drawers when opened ?

Thanks!

Yes, my contractor Dennis, cut the sink to the dimensions required in that space and customised the cabinets for me. I can't remember the cost of the cabinets as its part of the quotations. Will upload the pictures once I am free, possibly next week.

hi,

may i know will i experience the same problem as xxxx if i am to install the city gas heater??

Nope, you will not have the same issue as once you turn on the tap for hot water, the fire will be ignited at the heater. In fact, I remove the switch for the heater & used it as an extra plug in the bathroom. In both my bathrooms, I have a plug for hairdryer/shaver, ceiling light, top cabinet lights & also one for the exhausted fans. Will post a picture when I have time, next week.

<b><u>My Awesome (as far as I am concern <img src="http://www.renotalk.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> ) Concealed Kitchen</u></b>

In order to achieve a neat & clean look, all my electrical appliances are hidden behind the cabinets. Only my fridge, hood & hob is exposed. Many of you may be asking why I do not wish to get a concealed fridge. Well, the answer is simple... We are unable to find a 6 door fridge that is concealed. And we are delighted with this fridge made in Japan <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

I just realise that is a liitle confusion over the entire bidet spray. So here is the explaination:-

My plumber tells me that the bidet spray can be installed in the bathrooms. He managed to locate the pipes by "kocking" the tiles & also chit chatting with the other plumbers who have worked on The Pinnacle resident's homes. In fact, there is a quite a few The Pinnacle residents who have install the bidet spray. Also its not messy at all smile.gif (I saw a unit in Blk 1G after its done).

After they destory the tiles to fixed the bidet spray, they will replace the bathroom tiles, so it looks brand new smile.gif BSC will give you the supplier for the bathroom tiles, if you are interested. Initially I thought its was against the HDB policy (something to do with water proofing), so unfortunately, I have not done it as I am still considering it.

The good news is that Shelby spoke to the Techical officer of P@D, Ms Lee (6248 6432) to ask her if we are allowed to hack a few tiles in the bathroom. Ms Lee said its possible to hack the bathroom wall tile to make an opening for the pipes as wall tiles do not need waterproofing, only floor tiles are no allowed to hack.

So will get my plumber to get it done & post pictures on my reno blog.

hello

can u recommend or give me the contact of the plumber??? or if anyone u know who can do this for me???

tqvm!
