Ivy1981,

yes you're right. think i post before about their bazi services. I regret paying them for the reading & in the end... haiz.

Hi Jason, did you engage tan khoon yoong himself for his bazi services or was it done by other masters? Was it totally inaccurate? My parents went to him with my bazi when I was still in school & the bazi reading was a plain, bland-tasting sort of advice...

I've gone to one of his other FS masters who was affliated to wayonnet a couple of years back & that joker uses the purple star astrology, like a mediocre or should I say, somebody whose fresh out of the school (for purple star astrology). It was a letdown compared to the skills of my own regular Taiwanese FS master.

But there are still many people who felt that TKY is good, especially those who had a supposedly smooth-going sort of "ming" (life) with minor "downturns" or almost none. Some of our relatives were hot fans of TKY & raved so much about how great his FS expertise was. I just felt that he was way too commercialised: he even sells FS accessories, etc. Very good at $-making opporunities...

My parents were his fans too. Anything related to geomency, they'll go to "TKY". Everything was "TKY" to them. But TKY's wayonnet do have good aftersales service & very thorough in his fengshui audits. And I noticed that TKY keeps in tandem with modern changes, incorporates stuff which r up-to-date & relevant to his business. He even brought along his architect to draw out the altar design for my parents' home.

But his bazi reading for me differed from that of my FS master who uses the purple star astrology. I would give credits for accuracy to the one who uses purple star astrology. Even my dad agrees with this even though he likes to engage "TKY" for any geomency services.

Yah lah.....

And the most important thing for a fsm is character...my 1 cent.....income tax go after him doesn't smell good. The lousiest excuse I've heard is "I don't know must pay tax"..... in the end must sell house to pay tax.

One thing for sure, I think bazi no need to go to his shop.....being a fsm can't even foresee.....sigh!!!

i paid 1.6k for his services few years ago on my old flat..

he offers a common package that includes life analysis and fengshui.

all the ornaments he recommended will be given to you without additional costs.

i'll only state facts here.

his life analysis was different from master Lin (famous guy who operates from a HDB flat)..

i go to master Lin every year for life analysis, and happened that it was just few mths after Tan gave me his analysis.

So I got master Lin to relook at my fengshui (everything already completed) again just in case, he said it was fine but added one ornament and charged me a token sum (coffee money) only as he wasn't the main guy...

life analysis wise, i'll trust master Lin as my luck totally changed after i started going to him before CNY every year... but i didn't ask for fortune, only for peace and harmony...

Master Tan is very good in customer service, as after that if you wish to buy or remove furniture, you can send his company an email and they'll reply accordingly. they'll send you regular updates and calendar which is quite useful (those chinese kind with all the important dates)...

He makes you feel safe as he's company setup looks reliable unlike normal fengshui masters who operates from small shophouses and use pencil to draw on your floorplan, master tan's uses CAD software... high tech baby..

his customers are paying for him high tech stuff.

maybe mre than triple after buying the crystals they sell heh no wonder gt tax issues...

I remember seeing one from the shop ( I think is orchard central) by Tan, the price of one piece of Qi Lin selling $888(yellow in color), some shops said its Taiwan lava (got multicolor). Other pieces costs thousands of dollars. Last time when I Sua Ku, bought from shops only at $100++. Just imagine the profits they made.....some more not effective also.

I'm not very interested in people that has something to do with the law.

During Chinese new year, my uncle told me that he made an enquiry for his 4 rm flat. A lady quote him about 600++. When asked for audit by Tan Khoon Yong, she quoted triple the price!! I don't see any point with these fsms as they also sell ornaments, the audit fees is not the end. The feng shui ornaments became part of the package that works and remedies....so everyone consult them surely get stuck in a dilemmna.

Worse of all, you don't get a personal touch. They come and the rest of the work/ communications are prepare by their staffs or understudy. I hear too much of these from friends already.
