Initially, I am considering this GRUNDTAL series from IKEA for my kitchen countertop lighting.

However, it's waaaay to expensive. Anyone idea for cheaper alternative?

Or, maybe I just buy a slim version from any neighbourhood shop ?

I bought T5 lights of various length from lightings.com.sg. cost about $10. Working pretty well. It comes with switches on the blub. Hope this helps.

correct. i swear by T5 lightings. available 1ft to 4ft. use them in my cove, kitchen counter bottom, toilet counter bottom and feature wall mood light. cheap and easy. and slimmer than the Ikea light shown by TS
