Dear all, I would like to share a very unfortunate experience of mine. I bought my kitchen sink from poh seng hardware at jalan besar. The boss assured us twice that his sinks are made of statinless steel. one week after the installation of the sink, it started to rust (please refer to photos). We went back to look for the boss to tell him about the rust. Instead of giving a solution, he raised his voice at us claiming that there is nothing wrong with his sink and we should blame HDB for the "extra ingredients" in the water.

But my question is, isn't my sink made of stainless steel, if so, why the rust?

We tried autosol anf CIF but doesn't really help much.

guys, just went up to check and noticed that my master room basin starts to rust as well. I'm surprised that the HDB sink is of a better quality than poh seng. just for sharing, do get the sales person to state in black and white that you are getting a stainless steel sink. so that when something is wrong, at least there's proof.

Unless u want to be stuck with a rusty kitchen sink, DO THINK TWICE before purchasing there.

me also agree... went to Hoe Kee, Poh Joo, Eng Soon Huat... but in the end still felt more comfortable with Poh Seng... when we told our ID we buy from them, our ID also agree with that Poh Seng service is best and goods are more "quality"... he was telling us about the internal story behind Poh Seng and Poh Joo... apparently the couple that runs Poh Seng now are the ones that had built up Poh Joo's reputation previously...

bought mine over there too, delivery was late a little for 30mins.

but everything was good. i did some changes and all was done nicely.

service good also. Recommended

I would like to recomend forumer to go to buy from Poh Seng Hardware Enterprise Pte Ltd, for basin, sink, tap, and toilet bowl etc... The service are good and the boss is willing to share the experience and tell us what is good buy. He will not only intro those very expensive things he will based on your budget... Very understanding boss i can say. We went to alot of shops that is recommended by forumer like Poh Joo, we dun think it is good the price is very expensive in Poh Joo and the things there are very messy ... Just want to share my experience with other forumers so that you can get the good lobang also ... like me...
