Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) is one of the strongly recommended methods to quit Smoking addiction . The success rates are as high as 70%. NRT can also be used with techniques like counseling which give even better results.

Nicotine tablets or lozenges are not swallowed but allowed to dissolve under the tongue. The nicotine thus gets absorbed into the bloodstream.

Nicotine nasal spray is a spray which helps nicotine to get absorbed into the blood rapidly. It works as rapidly as cigarettes. It helps to relieve sudden surges of craving. But it causes side effects like nose and throat irritation, coughing and watering of the eyes.
