Any Good Tcm To Recommend?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Could you pm me the info about your recommended TCM clinic pls? My mother has been suffering from pains on her hands and the back of her knees. She went to a TCM at Tampines but it seems like the treatment is only temporary which is in contrast to what I always believe that TCM always go for the root of the problem. Thanks.

Hi coolbriz,

I have already PM-ed u the TCM clinic's contact details. Please check ur mailbox.

It isn't true that all medical conditions could be cured by TCM. In my case, my medical condition does relapse if I do not lead a disciplined lifestyle. And diet is extremely important.

What's ur mother's diet like? She has to avoid alot of coconut based products, curries & melons. Kangkong vegetables are out for her too becox it promotes "wind" & rheumetism.

According to my PRC national friends, they complained that there is a lack or absence of good & knowledgeable TCM physicians here in Singapore. As such, they always try to delay treatment until they return to China. This seems to be sadly the case becox I was being directed to many TCM physicians over the years & I couldn't believe it when they got the diagnosis wrong!

I would highly recommend you our family TCM but she is a Singapore PR whose based here in Singapore for the past 10 years. Qualified with her own TCM clinic.

Her native country is China (Beijing) and she used to work for the state hospital in Beijing (Beijing general hospital).

It worked really well for me after being sickly for more than 5 years; went to see so many sinsehs until I gave up hope. Then finally, found her thru the chinese newspapers & she pin pointed out the problem.

After consulting for 3 months, she stopped my treatment & told me to buy a type of tonic to eat - she doesn't sell the tonic so I bought the item in the form of pills from Eu Yan Sang. And since then, I'm glowing with health.

If you are interested, I can PM you the name of her TCM clinic & contact details.

Could you PM me her TCM clinic and contact? Thanks!

Hi folks,

I've been binching on all kinds of delicacies & pushing my limits with titbits. Apart from these unhealthy practices & skipping my jogging sessions, I've also been sleeping for only 3-4 hours.

And finally, my biological clock has gone haywire & I'm suffering from undesirable effects of an unhealthy lifestyle.

Not only did I suffer from insomnia, aka turning into a light sleeper, my skin has gone downhill from a flawless, porcelain glowy texture to one that's not just prone to zit-breakouts, but an assortment of blemishes & spotty stuff.

As such, I've embarked an a vigorous session of accupuncture with my regular Chinese sinseh & a huge dose of her lectures on the importance of a disciplined lifestyle. And yes, it was tough to change one's habits especially when I've been indulging in such an unhealthy lifestyle for almost 2 years. :P

My hubby was tired of browsing through the magazines while the accupuncture sessions were on-going. He had passed his time in the clinic by observing the fine needles which were pierced onto my skin. And needless to say, the cheeky guy took several snapshots of my accupuncture.

After editing it on Picasa, I've decided to launch it here in this thread for the purpose of sharing.

This photograph below shows the needles placed on definitive accupuncture points of my face. If u asked me if it hurts, of course it does! However, the pain was more like an ant's bite when the the skin was first pricked by the needles & the pain would disappear thereafter.

According to my hubby, he claimed that the needles applied to my face were alot finer & shorter than those that were positioned on other parts of my body such as my head, elbows & legs.

Another snapshot of a bigger & fatter needle that was placed onto one of my elbows.

Her clinic is closed between 2 June to 13 June 2012 for holidays & biz resumes on 14 June 2012.

If your sinseh in Pasir Ris works for u, I would highly recommend that you stick to him/ her.

Best wishes!

Hi the clinic assistants could speak English & they could assist in translation.

My skin is soft & smooth now but on condition that I sleep early, stop eating deep fried stuff & empty my bowels every morning after waking up.

I m knocking on certain accupuncture locations at the side of my thighs as advised by her. It seems to be working on fine.

They r closed for holidays now & will reopen on 14th June 2012.
