No windows... How about bamboo blinds? I notice some owners install bamboo blinds, place some plants, table and chairs at the balcony. It makes the balcony such a cosy place for coffee and chitchat. :)

How big is the balcony?

I have the same type of balcony (around 8sq metres) for my yet-to-be-completed condo. Our thoughts are to convert the place into a alfresco dining area. To do that, we are thinking of getting curtains to block the elements, and some outdoor tables and chair. Dunno feasible or not.

If your unit is on the top floor, can consider using it the balcony as a grilling/chill out area.

That's what a close friend of mine did. He holds regular BBQ dinners at his home, doubles up for cigars and drinks as well.

was considering bamboo blinds but read various feedback on this forum that bamboo blinds like disintergrate in 2-3 years, and with the balcony being rather huge, its just like flushing $$ down the toilet if have to replace every 2-3 years.

are bamboo blinds with PVC backing more lasting?

balcony faces morning sun and of course will get the rain ...

HELP anyone ...
