:yamseng:

I will b hogging yr blog! Love almost everything!

Where u get the kitchen floor tiles? Can share the model n prices?

Is having 2 small water heater better than the big 30L tank?

Oh yr basin is swee! I also planning to sign up with opsh.. Pls keep me posted of their workmanship..

I wanted to start my blog but I got no ID/contractor nothing concrete yet to show!!!

Hi angle butterfly, glad that there is someone who share the same taste as me! :P

The kitchen floor tiles is from LSH @ $4 if i rem clearly... but i dont have the model number as i had already passed the quotation to my contractor but i can check with him and let you know again... :D

The purpose of having an instant heater is because of safety measure for my kiddos... as the younger ones may not know how to adjust the water temperature and may result in scald if they turned it to the hottest...

but if you dont have kids a storage heater is good cos can have rainshower! :good:

OPSH so far so good... and their price is quite reasonable... i only went to 2 pole system specialists and OPSH is the cheapest, will update the workmanship here after installation...

where is your place? when starting reno?? hope to see your blog soon!

Oh...I'm really sorry about that. I think for the month of March and Apr, I've been meeting too many house owners that I really can't cope at all. Anyway, recently had found a way to reduce the time for house owners on waiting for my quotation, that is to quote on the spot. I think Wenx also waited 1 mth then received my quotation. :P

If u r willing to forgive me and give me a chance to meet up( will take ard 3hrs), I'll give you the quotation on the spot.

My style of working is always attentive to the present house owner first than potential customers. Hope everyone can understand. Moreover now I'm not going to entertain to those who send me floor plan and ask me to quote by mail. I do prefer in meeting up and discuss. Really really sorry for those that I've forgotten, I will change and improve this shortcoming of mine.

Angelbutterfly, i guess my No.1 contractor had explained his delay in quoting to you... Well and he was right, he was the 1st person i met up and discuss but the last person i received the quote from :curse:

I had to call him up and ask him to meet me at my place after a few reminder sms to email me the quote but no news! zz

He came all the way from punggol despite his car broke down and we had great discussion and i decided to engage him on the spot! he is not pushy and most importantly he give very down to earth and professional advice... he was very attentive to present customer and i think he got quite a few projects on hand tats why a delay in replying you... but rest assured that you will be in good hand if u eventually decided to use his service....

Dun feel too stress thou i know its impossible! i dreamt of my reno almost every nite... not because of my No.1 contrator work, with him i'm at ease but i'm more worried about the figures... so scare will overspent!! :o

Day12ofRenovation09-05-113.jpg

The seriously misaligned window in my living room :furious:

WindowMis-aligned3.jpg

Had emailed the pic to Alex, let's see what he can do to resolve this.... :angry2:

On a happier note, had confirmed my pole system layout with OPSH and installation will be on the 24th May.

Was surprised to see Jason waiting for me at OPSH yesterday when i went down to finalise the layout :D

I din know that he is coming but i'm glad that he came cos he helped me with the layout using his professional views else i will be following blindly what was being proposed :P

Oh Freddy called me to arrange the date of installation and i asked him when u coming to choose the layout. That's why I'm there so that to see and understand more of his layout on whether will its crashed with the work and design not.

Oh btw, today met Alex and he will be changing the windows for the balcony. Although he told me that he will talk with you, but I had insisted him to change and do it to what I wanted hope this doesn't add up to your burden(u can tell him u leave it to me and everything arrange it with me also can). That wall will not be painted until he replaced the window even tot it will cost me more to ask the painter to come another day to finish up the job.

Lies????U haven't signed the contract and he/she already telling u lies?

Oh I remembered that your floorplan had a very odd layout. This month a bit too busy because 3 projects were given to me on a very tight a schedule to meet. Mostly my renovation project will takes 2 months but this 3 projects are less than a month time to complete. If not, they will be 'homeless' :P . So I'm rushing my ideas...eating 2 big packet of M & M's...etc to get it done. Moreover i bidding for a commercial project in Sept and need to submit the drawings by end of this month so being squeezed tight tight.

Why is your ID lying to you? its not good as u may face lotsa problem later...

I agreed that the selecting process is tiring and i only met 4 and already very tired...

The spark between us and Jaskel was the greatest...

Most importantly u need to get a ID/contractor whom you can click and understand your needs and like...

Its right to slow down the pace and cool down before embarking in the journey again.. "resting for a long journey" hehe

If you are not urgent in your reno, you can stay tune here and after i completed mine, u can meet up jaskel to discuss yours... :P
