What Is Your Favourite Brand For Fridge? :)

Recommended Posts

I've been searching the forums for polls on popular (read: trusted) brands but couldn't come across any.

Hope this would be useful (not just for me) but for other people as well.

Your 2 cents are very much appreciated and will go a long way :)

Looking for good contractors? Click here for your request

I go for whichever had the most energy-saving tick (4 ticks), value for $$ (aka cheap), then follow brand

What about Hitachi and Sharp.

I had seen some1 post review on the Hitachi Fridge, mentioning there is a open reservoir behind the fridge breeding mosquitoes :dunno: Hitachi comes with 4 ticks.

mine is Hitachi with 4 ticks.

I don't have the "open reservoir" issue

This is my third MITSUBISHI fridge- Now using Folio MR-G57N. Not because it spoiled then i changed. I actually pass the old one to my sister so that i can get a bigger one. Only 2 tick but the bright red and the design just fit into my kitchen so it really between personal preference and energy-saving. will not try korea brand as got bad experience with the plasma TV last time. Maybe they are better mpw but still prefer Jap brand.

Dean... why not samsung fridge? bad encounter?

samsung fridge 3 tick noisy. technician told me the noisy sound is normal. i mean when motor running, motor will be noisy. when motor not running/sleeping it is quiet. i think i abit sensitive to noisy sound. i always hear buzzzzzzy sound around my block. technician came and saw behind the fridge, short of 1 black rubber and he put 1 black rubber to copper pipe so it won't vibrate too much. when the technician came, the fridge no noisy sound, when he left the noisy sound start again.

R-Z481EMXS-STS.

Use since last Aug.

Happy user. My husband is the most happy b'coz he is the one choose this model.

There is a thread on this

http://www.renotalk.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=27802&st=40&p=559832&hl=+hitachi%20+fridge&fromsearch=1entry559832

I am actually looking at the R-Z451.

I believe its the same series just only different in capacity and dimension.

So is the spec the same as 481?

Sorry abt that!...i didn't know which brands to include! haha

i just added Hitachi and Panasonic brands.

Seems like mitsubishi and F&P are a bit more popular than the rest.

Where did u buy ur Hitachi fridge btw?

We are shopping for fridges - just not sure whether is it good to buy from Courts/Best Denki/Harvey Norman...
