Once the Leveling of the kitchen is done, the kitchen floor tilings are done as well. The pace that they are doing , is rather amazing.

Wiring is being done. Contractor actually met up with me to discuss the electrical points and switches.

Also decided on Aircon positions, lamination colours, paint colours , etc.

Amazed with on speed of ur reno. Guess tt u are pretty much on schedule :) Nonetheless, do check the floor tiles to ensure tt they are properly lay and 'solid'. Knock on them to ensure there's no hollow sound underneath.

Wat I earlier meant by floorplan is the modified layout plan based on how ur new hse is to be designed. I'm still trying to see how best i could squeeze out a storage area without 'compromising' my idea of widening the living room  Will be fondling with the idea of extending out the MBR toilet too.

Let me do a little search on the modified floorplan :) They actually gave me some time ago, but never really took note of it...

For the MBR toilet, do take note of the approval. I did check with HDB and my contractor actually told me that at most can extend out 1 feet. Doesn't seems very cost efficient to me. Spending a few more K to extend 1 feet out.

I will be shifting in on 29th Aug, so everything has to be done FAST !!!

For the tiling, actually I'm quite impressed with their workmanship. I though that I myself have to check tile by tile, but when I am there to pay a visit, I saw the workers are actually checking tile by tile before laying the protective sheet on them.

Thks.

Tts good! Seems tt u hv managed to get a very responsible contractor for the tiling works. At times, it's all depends on luck, though we had spent considerable time researching and talking to IDs/contractors. Some are good all the way while some may be good during discussion phase but start to slack when actual works begins. Tts y alot of time is require for us to go down and look at progress frm time to time. It'll be very disturbing if rectifications are needed to be done at the 11th hrs.

Thanks :)

Yea, have to rush to get all in order. But just received some calls and apparently carpentry might take awhile. I wouldn't want to rush them since workmanship for carpentry is very important ! Yea, 6xx series. Convenient !
