Hie Guys and Gals,

I was thinking the other day regarding on the lightnings.

you see, say i wish to place 1 strip of LED light in my wardrobe and connect to the MBR light switch.

When i on my light switch my LED in the wardrobe will automatically on too right.

Any ways to make it:

1) On MBR light switch

2) LED strip is connected to MBR main swtich

3) LED strip contain power but is dim

4) Pull open my wardrobe, power source trigger and LED switch on.

Possible? (to save electric  )

I think u connect led to main switch but install a tic-tac switch at wardrobe door? U know kinda like those fridge type. So that when close door it disconnects the circuit

hmm good idea bro~

let me ask my contractor is he able to do this hehe

Now, i dono how should i order the LED Strips?

Im having black and white kitchen cabinet, would like to use Orange to reflect my black backsplash effect maybe require 25ft length

ScreenShot2011-11-23at103106PM.png

MBR and Common bathroom= on top and below the mirror may need 8ft Orange LED Strips

Living hall and MBR feature wall: Orange for top and bottom for the feature wall 20ft length

MBR Wardrobe: 6.5ft for Orange LED Strip

Shoe cabinet: Orange as well for 4ft length

Should i get RGB SMD LED 5050? is this the brightest among others LED series?

I may need total length of 63.5ft in total OMG so scary haha :notti:

Ohh so is normal haha im worried im one of the weirdo :sport-smiley-004:

So 20meters LED strips do take up a lot of electricity?

Any input on this?

Am thinking how to play around with LED colours, because im having all Orange instead of blue, white n so on :)

Can't see the actual lighting is kind a hard to choose the colours.

Oh, am I too late to tell you IKEA's soft closing mechanism is done by BLUM? I went to Ikea some weeks ago and talked to the staff abt their kitchen models. Found out they specially have BLUM design their soft closing thing to fit in IKEA kitchen door/ drawer. $9-10 per pair.

Ikea staff said bc it's a design btw Blum n Ikea so it was named differently.

But I was showed the back of the soft hinge, it's very compact n has Blum word @ the back.

The price per pair is cheap, ikea motto "we help you save".

The main problem is: ikea soft closing mechanism can only be used for Ikea products.

A t-blog owner here with a country theme flat had his kitchen top n bottom done by carpenter, and used Ikea doors.

Like that, he could purchased the soft closing hinge as well.

hmm ic,

Im still thinking on the price vs. durability on the Blum, Ikea, OEM hinges in the market.

Paying extra for the brand BLUM which slightly better quality whether justifiable on getting them.

I love blum (poison by reno magazines) but still hard to take a step to their office to see their products~

Once im there definitely i'll go crazy and wipe out everything that i needed and there goes my wallet a big hole in the pocket hehe :deal:
