mentos 0 Report post Posted January 25, 2012 Hi,I just put a deposit for my house, and should be able to collect my keys in 2 months' time. The house is 30 years old and I want to do some minor renovations to make it more 'liveable'.I intend to keep the main structure of the house, and just renovate certain parts like the roof and roof tiles, toilets, kitchen, stairs and change the layout of the house slightly. I also need to buy furniture and lightings.I prefer a nice European/uk cottage style house design. I sort of have an idea of what I want the house to look like, but not so sure where to get furniture and how to match the house colour/deco with the furniture.Should I get an ID or a contractor? I do not want to spend too much money on the renovations as I plan to knock down and rebuild the house to a 3 and a half storey house in a couple of years' time. Thanks in advance!
