Finally im collecting my keys tommorrow!! Yeah!!

Will be meeting up with my contractor and electrician tommorrow as well to get a quote on the lighting points, hope it will not be too expensive.

Btw, if i need to engage with the haulage service, do i apply with the town council? Usually i do it or the contractor will do it?

Its another day of spending!! And gosh, i haven't collect my keys yet! wahahaha...this is crazy

Bought the following items:

Got our lightings quote today. Is it expensive??

1 New Lighting Points x 15nos ($30) $450.00

2 Provide labour for installation light for whole house x 25nos ($10) $250.00

3 Remote controller unit x 2nos ($120) $240.00

4 S.C.V point x 1no ($100) $100.00

5 13A x 2 power point x 1no ($65) $65.00

6 Tel point x 1no ($50) $50.00

7 Cooker hob & hood point x 1no ($80) $80.00

8 Labour for intallation ceiling fan x 1no ($80) $80.00

9 Labour for connection of water heater tank x 1no ($60) $60.00

Total: $1,375.00

Gst 7%: $96.25

Grand Total: $1,471.25

u can go face book and search for aircon guru. I thk he got lobang for Midea aircon (if u don`t mind china brand). Personally i do not know him or engage him before. Saw a number of them seek his advice regarding aircon.That all i know. Good luck to yr reno.

Bought our air-con Mitsubishi Starmex inverter system 4 from Gain City.

We have not install it yet coz they can hold for a few months for us.

My colleague bought from Gain City mitsubishi sys 4 also. Plus 5 yrs warranty & servcing and upgrade of pipings etc it become $5000 plus!

Is it worth it to get the extra things? (warranty, servicing, pipings)

Did some research on this forum and realise that there is a shop in Joo Chiat that helps to do free installation if you purchase from them. That will help to save abit in my electrical quotation.

Anyone bought from them before? is it more advisable for the contractor electrician to do it or is it ok for the light company personel to do it?
